This place used to be decent a few years ago - it has gone downhill - mice, roaches, dog poop everywhere, teenagers vandalizing and smoking weed in common spaces, washers and dryers always broken, homeless people sleeping in the staircases, it’s not safe, it’s dirty, there is no security. They only care about the outside of the buildings. Sad

Fuman demasiado Mariajuana en los balcones y dentro de los apartamentos tanto que el olor es persistente en los pasillos en el sistema de ventilacion ya que es cojunto con todo la torre. no respetan para nada que hay ninos. si se piensan mudar preparensen porque el Canabis va ser el legal en Virginia y va estar peor.

Motorcycles stolen, cars broken into, wheels stolen off of cars and left on pallets, packages stolen from in front of you door and opened in the stairwell. Manage does not send out a single notice warning residents or any plan to remedy it. This does not even include the poor and untimely services that are done on the washers and dryers, cigarette and weed smokers that they will do nothing about and trash left in hallways that they passive aggressively put papers under everyone's door about but ...

Do not, I repeat DO NOT waste your money here or reside here. I lived at London Park over 5 years and it was 5+ regrettable years. The property manager is a rude, disrespectful woman with no customer service skills. The building is very old. Every other day, the water is shut off for some type of repair or maintenance. You will be lucky if you get a day notice. The air conditining units in the apartment are old and is moldy. The filters are rarely changed. When they filters are changed, ...

maintenance use it as an opportunity to inspect your place in a large group. There is no parking. THERE IS NO PARKING AFTER HOURS. You have to be home before 10pm to find a parking. There is no over night guest parking. If guest are parked after 11pm THEY WILL BE TOWED. The towing people walks around the parking lot checking plates and stickers prior to 11pm anticipating your guest over stay that time. There is very poor incentives and apartment up keep for residents who resides there over a year or more. The fire station across the street will interrupt your conference calls or sleep from the very loud siren. The washers and dryers on each floor rarely works although you inform management of needed repairs. The water bills are astronomical. Mind you the building is in need of major repair and maintenance workers does there best to delay repairs or jimmy needed requested repairs. You may get stuck on the elevator if it is working that day. People trash, urinate, smoke cigarettes and weed in the stair cases. I can go on and on about the deplorable condition of this place. However, if you ever do take a tour, take a moment and ask a few residents who has lived there for a while what they think and how they feel. Do yourself a favor and live where you and your money is treated with the respect you work hard for and deserve. I do not believe real residents wrote the prior raving reviews given the numerous building code issues, rodent infestation and poor customer service of this apartment

I've only lived here for a year, but I would stay longer if not for a job transfer. There are only 3 minor downsides I've experienced: no dishwasher (which I knew before I moved in obviously), the whole building is set to either heat or AC and they turned off AC in October when it could have still been useful until at least November, and a few packages have gotten lost/stolen. Otherwise, I've had no issues. No maintenance problems, it's fairly quiet, and staff are always friendly & helpful. It's ...

walking distance to bus stops, 7-11, CVS, and Harris Teeter. I've spent a lot of time here during lockdown, and it's been the best apartment I've had so far.

Plumbing Issues, Not Sound Proof, No Security & Amazon Packages Stolen

The plumbing is so poor here, that the pipes burst and you get poor water pressure. You can see the water stains on the hallway from where the pipes have burst, and you hear the neighbors trying to turn their showers on. The water that comes out, has to be tweaked just right to get hot, even warm, water and the pipes shake and make a loud noise when adjusting. You pay water utilities here, and have a shared water heater with everyone on your floor. Not sound proof, you hear not only your ...

neighbors, but you can hear them walking down the hallway, when they throw out the trash or do laundry, and even when they use the elevator ~ all from within your apartment. And of course you get to hear the fire trucks from the fire station next door, and any time someone plays their car radio loud or has a loud engine. You also get hear every motorcycle that goes down Duke St. There are no cameras or security, even in the elevators and the lobby. Also, you have a 50/50 chance of not getting your Amazon packages, even if left at your apartment door.

MICE!!!!

I wish I could give this place 0 stars because they deserve -10. The worst place I've ever lived! I'm embarrassed that I ever lived here. MICE, MICE and MORE MICE!!! Please do not move here if you value your health and safety! We had mice after just a few weeks of moving in. Management was rude and acted like it could somehow be our fault. We had barely unpacked before they started coming in. We found several holes in the corners and even after filling them up they still kept coming. We had pest ...

control coming in every week and still had mice the entire time we lived here. They travel through the old convectors that this place uses for heating and cooling, which is another health hazard in itself, so it's practically impossible to get rid of them. I had to live mice AND pay the egregious amount of rent they charge, which goes up faithfully every year. The office workers are unhelpful, haughty and downright rude. They literally don't care about you only your money. If you can afford somewhere else move there! They do a good job ACTING like this place is high class and worth the money but it is a full on con job!! DO NOT MOVE HERE!! I ignored the reviews on here before moving and completely REGRET IT! Now please know I understand you get what you pay for but... this is kinda ridiculous.The loudest apartment I’ve ever lived in. The dumpsters and generators are literally 15 feet from the building leading to loud, jarring slamming and buzzing sounds that, I kid you not, begin abruptly at 7am every single morning until about 9am during the week. out of my sleep at 8am by loud noises at least 3x a week. Not to mention the fire station across the street with firefighters who love to play with the loud intercom system they have. And then you actually get inside the building. Dirty carpets and facilities, and the lower lobby smell of the dumpsters(again dumpsters are literally 15 ft from the building) and common areas are constantly filled with very loud residents and children yelling and running in the the halls. Freight elevator has worked for about 3 weeks total the entire time I’ve been here, meaning having to share the residential elevator with people moving, inconvenient for all parties involved. There has been loud construction on some portion of this very very old building every morning for about 5 months now. No visitor parking and no visitor parking passes and the parking lot for residents is never ever full. Street parking is a mess after 4pm, will have to walk a 1/3 of a mile back the building if/when you finally find a spot. More than enough space for visitor spots. 1 year wait list for reserved covered parking. Office staff seem neutral if only In An apathetic ”yeah we know this kinda sucks” way. Did not have my apartment to view until move in day despite approving me almost 2 months prior. They missed 2 deadlines to finish preparing the apartment and did not let me know until the day of the missed deadline. Even on the morning of moving day when I arrived the apartment to move in it still wasn’t done, had to wait an additional couple of hours until after 3pm on the day that THEY SCHEDULED AFTER RESCHEDULING TWICE. There has to be a better place in a similar price range. Do not make the same mistake I did. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else, I promise this place is not worth it.

Hot water is very worse I think their boilers very old they need to replace it, hot water is very cloudy it looks very dirty you can't use it.

Worst place ever, one huge rat got inside my apt and they couldn't catch it so I took my little two kids and my wife and we slept at a hotel, on daily days washer and dryer always broken, elevators make weird sounds while you in it so basically nightmares especially when you have kids. I don't recommend to any human being. Thanks, Akram

I live here but I hate it. The other renters are terrible. They drop food and drinks and junk mail everywhere. The hallways smell of cigarette smoke and it blows into my apartment through the ceiling vents and the front door. The pipes in the buildings are old and always leak so the water bill is always high.
