      Do not let the looks of this place fool you. You enter with the mindset of Luxury apartments, but the reality is far from that. The management of this place is very poor. Rent never posted on time and glitches that incurred late penalties. Poor adherence to Maintenace requests. Going through the whole summer without AC during one of the hottest summers as team could not find the issue. Containment action was to provide one window AC to cover 2 rooms.       parking spot that you pay $50 a month for. Renters using guest parking as a permanent parking spot to avoid the monthly charge. Never any parking spots for guest due to this issue. Positive things: Gym and common area were great.

      Here is a better list of things that have been a nightmare since we moved in... - No AC for months - Double charge or wrong amounts posted for rent - Extremely bad communication, can't get ahold of management - Guests can't park because residents park in visitor spots - Nobody knows who manages the property (at least 2 different people in only 4 months) - Loud train directly behind you - No warning when they are doing construction above you - Can't use common areas for work when it's loud ...

      Lume looks very nice from the outside. Unfortunately, cheap construction and close proximity to the commuter rail line makes for a rather unpleasant living experience. The walls are paper thin, so you will hear everything from next door, and even across the hall. I can hear the elevator noises from within the bathroom while the shower is turned on. There is no central office, so problems are addressed by calling the property manager. Problems outside the normal Monday thru Friday 9 to 5 business ...
      hours unfortunately have gone unanswered completely by management. I pay per month for a reserved outdoor parking spot that is usually taken by a visitor. Management has yet to provide a solution to the issue after repeated emails and calls. Unfortunately, this leaves me paying for a "reserved" parking spot which can't be used. Amenities are lackluster for the price you pay, with a small gym, lounge area, and coffee machine which is never stocked. Snow removal in the winter was painfully absent at times, with spots left unplowed for days and weeks after a snowstorm. Unfortunately, I can't recommend that a new renter consider living at Lume.
