September 26, 2024This is the worst apartment building I have ever stayed in my life. If you're looking for a building that can really keep up with tenants by keeping the place cleaned, properly maintaining appliances, this is not it. There are roaches everywhere. They do nothing about it. The ladies downstairs will lie in your face. This is nothing but a cash grab for the building. The carpet can easily be ripped off the floor by a 1.5 year old child. Big infestation of cockroaches!!!!
December 18, 2022If you want to live in a place infested with all kinds of cockroaches then come live here! And it's not a small infestation, it's something unimaginable, you practically feel like you're living in a dumpster. The administrators are aware of the problem and are dragging you along with totally ineffective fumigation since we didn't get any results. I asked more than 26 people and they all have the same problem, but what shocked me the most was that one of them still sleeps completely covered in ...clothes and gloves because the cockroaches even climb into the bed. In our case they fall from the ceiling everywhere in the house, we have only 20 days here unsustainable, we are killing cockroaches all day and cleaning the house. we can't keep anything in the cupboards, closets, we can't eat, because we can't cook, they fall into the pans, they go into the microwave, Airfryer, we lose everything we cook because they leave the stove, fall from the ceiling or both. The most incredible thing is that administrators doubt you. I have several footage and photos of our daily lives with these disgusting beings that cause disease. Stay away from this place as even the poisons they use don't work and they refuse to change exterminators. Stay away from this place!!! Location is good but not worth the stress and filth you have to put yourself through. We are new arrivals and so far we haven't been able to store our things, or have a nice day or meal in this infested place! We lose days of work to kill cockroaches, we lose appliances because they get inside. Please don't be fooled by this place!!! I don't wish that on anyone. Infested with roaches
December 13, 2021It’s been about a year since I moved in. The Staff is amazing and always nice. However, this building is INFESTED with roaches. It’s extremely unpleasant and disgusting. Since day one I’ve experienced roaches and thought maybe the last tenants didn’t clean well lol nope the Building is infested you’ll see roaches everywhere! Ive complained & pest control will come by but I swear that’s water, there’s no way the same day that pest control comes roaches just appear to be chilling and living their ...best life in sunny isles…Ive talked to numerous neighbors and they all complain about the same issue all from different floors. Every time I go to the office there’s always someone complaining about roaches. I honestly wish I would of known this and I would have not moved in! Is disgusting when you constantly clean, barely use the kitchen (can’t imagine someone cooking in an infested kitchen) and roaches are still appearing. As much as I Love the location and the amenities, I’m moving out as management is not doing anything about the infestation of cockroaches.Property Manager Responded

October 12, 2015My name is Gail, from the moment I pulled in front of Marina Del Mar apartment building, I was in Aww. The location was perfect. It felt like a breath of fresh air. After stepping out of the car, the energy was amazing, it felt so serene. Once entering the building there is a concierge desk and the person was very professional. When I arrived, I had to use the restroom and was shown where the lobby's restroom was located; that was one of the cleanest lobby restrooms that I had ever seen. I ...definitely had to compliment them on that. The leasing agent told me that the building is cleaned daily. I was very impressed. After looking at a couple of units I had made my decision that this is truly the place that I would like to live. I did not want to look at the other places that I had lined up, for me this was it! The staff made the process with approval and move in very comfortable. As for the neighbors in the building, I personally have found that everyone that I have met is very nice. Very nice rental property
August 12, 2015I've been living here for four years and this apartment building is very good. They are constantly upgrading the property and the staff is very knowledgeable and polite. I rated it four stars because some upgrades in my opinion still need to be made but without a doubt the place have gotten perpetually better since I moved here in 2011. Also the maintenance team are sharp and punctual. Marina Del Mar is a wonderful, well-appointed, and well-kept community located directly across from the beach! Apartments are large with new appliances. The maintenance team is quick to fix even the smallest problem. The staff couldn't be better.
