May 16, 2025We loved living at McNary Heights. Management and maintenance are attentive and communicative, and they take really great care of the property. Being pet friendly is so important to me and they made it easy for my old girl to live in peace. If I didn’t need to be closer to work, I wouldn’t have wanted to move at all! Bad management
November 14, 2018I highly recommend that you do not rent from them...although the complex it's self is nice the management team is unprofessional, rude to there tenants and they treat people like they are high and mighty. They will price gouge you in retaliation. The "amenities " are not worth the stress and mone spent.Property Manager Responded

We do bill for damages caused to the apartment home and enforce the terms of the rental agreement. Electric Fire and how the property manager handled it
May 1, 2017It looked nice and I signed up. On my first day (because it was a local move, I was moving some of the stuff myself on Monday, and the movers were going to carry the furniture on Thursday), the assistant manager showed me the unit. When she turned on the wall heaters, one of them made strange noises, and another one started fire. The local firefighters came. They had to destroy part of the wall to extinguish the fire. I was surprised and distressed. The manager said he'd fix everything by ...Thursday. I said I might have to reschedule the professional movers because I want to come over again and make sure the apartment is move-in ready. I probably sounded rather grouchy. He said, "Well, I talked with my boss, and I said we'd fix it. Or, if you don't like it, you can cancel the lease and we'll refund your application and reservation fees, but you are not going to get any more money!" Oh, the way he said it. I withdrew. The fire was horrible, but the way they handled it was worse, and I can't imagine living under that management. I'm grateful, however, that they're letting me go without penalty.Property Manager Responded

August 1, 2015My daughter and I moved in last October. We had never lived in an apartment before so it was a big change for us. John and Christina are wonderful and made us feel very welcomed. Our apartment is roomy, updated and it's truly a great place to live. Prior to living here we would drive by and I would always comment about how nice these apartments looked from the outside. July 29, 2015Close to freeway if you work in Portland; close to downtown Salem; Yet in a quiet neighborhood where you can enjoy your privacy and entertain in your back patio as though you were doing so in your own private house. Outdoor clean well-maintained pool surrounded by a great sunny deck with solid deck chairs and beautiful landscaping with large trees. Great management available 24/7 for emergencies. Maintenance issues are dealt with quickly and efficiently. Well-laid floor plans with large ...bedrooms and impressively huge bathrooms (all my guests are impressed by the size of the bathroom and my full size washer/dryer).
