Very Nice Place!
May 4, 2026 - Review from Apartments.comFirst off, the staff is great. Super nice & friendly, attentive to concerns, quick to respond & act, and willing to explain & help you understand any questions you may have. And, they make a point to remember you... by name! The property is very cool (an old, historic, Philip Morris facility) and the amenities are awesome! Better than any other property that I looked at in the area. That was the big selling point for me (check the website to see what I'm talking about...). It's a nice place to ...live where you'd want to have friends/family come visit as there are a lot of entertaining options available. It's a gated community, which is good, and I've yet to meet a single resident that wasn't nice/friendly. Last thing -- It's much quieter than I would have expected! Honestly. Certainly no problems on my floor, at least. I've had no issues with disruptive neighbors, loud music, late night partying, arguments in the hallway, whatever. I fact, my immediate neighbor happens to be a DJ, likes to play his music, and so made a point to introduce himself after I moved in just to be sure that his music wasn't too loud. Respectful. I appreciated that. Location is great. Just a few minutes from VCU, Richmond's downtown, &/or access to the highway (I-95). Now, the parking situation could be a bit better, but it's sufficient. That would be my only "complaint." Just seems a little crowded. Anyway, I'd recommend Model Tobacco to anyone looking to move to the Richmond southside area. Cute unit, terrible living
March 1, 2024 - Review from Apartments.comAggressive dogs on site, not nearly enough parking for residents- you will get towed, they will not credit you. Residents scream and fight in the hallways, police are constantly called. Fire department has a hard time entering the premises when needed. They will charge you random, excessive fees and claim there is no way to credit or look into the legitimacy of the charges. Amazing New Property
October 30, 2023 - Review from Apartments.comThis build is new, within a year. Everything is brand new but regardless of that, there is 24hr maintenance on site, which I haven't had to use so not sure about that. There is really great security as well, use your phone to access all areas, so no one goes in or out or through doors without there being a record, that feels pretty good.
