September 18, 2025I have had a leak from the ceiling in my bedroom for over a year and a half. Every time it rains, it leaks. I told them there was mold and they didn't come to check or fix these major issues. I'm moving out and it's still leaking. They even have the apartment listed to be ready. They are scammers. The walls are super thin. You can hear your neighbors do and say everything including anyone outside. Couldn’t get a restful morning or night the entire time living here. December 19, 2023Really great complex for families. My husband and I have a 6 year old daughter, and found the area to be close to really great elementary schools. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY
April 7, 2022This property has poor maintenance, bad management, and parking. The stairwells are so tight most furniture doesn't even fit through the halls. Looks good from outside, but renter beware. The management has even threatened to tow vehicles of paying residents due to limited parking. If you're looking for a nice, friendly place to live that is well maintained, keep looking and stay away from Moderno!!!Review from Apartments.com
Ok housing / poor management
October 21, 2021The apartments and town homes are relatively nice. They put an average amount of effort into maintaining the common grounds. However, I have had a terrible experience with the management. More than 30 days after move out they have still failed to return the deposit. Despite hiring for a professionally cleaning service they will still charge a fee for moving out (approximately $350) to be taken from the deposit. The representatives they hire to speak on behalf of the property manager leave a lot ...to be desired. I have moved frequently and consider myself very tolerant. Newest and most modern townhomes in EP
April 29, 2019I used to live down the street at the other townhome complex but moved in here once they opened a few weeks ago. I feel like I'm living in a penthouse in LA. I'm especially a fan of the tile floors. The mountain view is absolutely gorgeous, which you can easily hike since the townhome is a block away from a trail. Perfect Place to live
September 6, 2018Nice community and good customer service Moving to a new city is not easy. I knew this is where I wanted to live once I called and was given all information over the phone and email. The manager spent 20 minutes on the phone answering all of my questions when everywhere else I called rushed me! The community is nicer than others I viewed here, much like what I was used to in Austin. The office employees are really nice and they care about your comfort in the apartment. Loving it
June 27, 2018My wife and I have been living in one of Moderno's town-homes and we have been loving it. We are minutes away from I-10 so getting to work downtown has been a breeze (on most days when El Paso's traffic isn't out of control). Management has been great, and the town-home itself is gorgeous, my wife and I are originally from California, and our town-home reminds us of the Californian styles back home. May 2, 2018We checked out almost every place on west El Paso. we've found that apartment living is our only option. I spent a lot of time asking questions before I applied and the office and property manager spent over 25 minutes with me. I think the rent is fair and everyone in the office has been extremely helpful. I was offered some drinks and snacks when we walked in, I had a call from the manager herself asking if we were satisfied with our move and have not had any issues at all and been here 4 ...months.
