September 11, 2021My roommate and I moved in without seeing the property since we were coming out of state, first mistake. There was and continues to be a problem with roaches, multiple appliances are broken in the unit (dishwasher and sink leak, missing shelves in the fridge). Every time I have gone to use the washers there has been an issue where the washing machines either eat my money or don't wash my clothes correctly. When we arrived the doors to all of the closets in the apartment were off, they did not ...have keys for the unit, they did not have a mail key for us, and they have stated they intended to change the locks and issue new keys within a few days of moving in and that has not been done in over a month. Benefits is the place is cheap by Boulder standards but that's about it and you get what you pay for. Would not recommend living here if you can help it.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Don't work with them for your own sanity
August 3, 2021I scheduled a tour with them after weeks of trying to get a straight answer on availability. Within a day of finally getting it scheduled, they called me 2-4 times at work and left no voicemails. I called them back to find out 2 apartments of the type I was interested in had been leased. I didn't have a particular unit number in mind so I asked to see another similar unit, which they said was available. We arrive for our tour and wander the property, looking for a leasing agent. I call the office ...and they tell me they attempted to call me to tell me the last available apartment had been leased, but had called the wrong number. They continue to list units as available regardless of the reality of their availability. It was a wild goose chase for absolutely nothing. Would not recommend any boardwalk properties based on this experience (as I've had similar experiences with others of theirs).Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Truly awful property
July 28, 2021A lot of the listed amenities aren't supported by them. If your AC has been broken for months, they refuse to fix it because it's "not a law" that they have to provide AC, even though it's listed. They're also just generally incredibly rude and shady and very slow. It took about 2 months to get an oven replaced. No way to cook! For two months! Also I've lived in two units at Mohawk and both had multiple ceiling leaks, despite them saying they were "fixed," the next time it rained or snowed a ton ...of my stuff got ruined.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
