The trash gets full a lot, the parking lot floods whenever it rains, and we are constantly moving our cars when the neighborhood kids play kickball and use cars as the bases (slamming the balls against the cars). Sometimes the people above us have parties at night and we have to park on the other side of the apartment complex... It can be annoying and then I remind myself the price of rent. We pay next to nothing compared to most places in myrtle beach, our maintenance guy Daniel is amazing! He ...

comes over whenever we need him and gets it fixed that day. He even let us borrow his tools one day. The ladies in the office have always been really nice. So, other than the few downfalls I've never felt unsafe living here and the price is great so I can't complain. We are renewing for another year.

Though yes, this apartment is cheap, especially considering proximity to the schools, the quality is reflected in the price. The apartments are not very well taken care of by maintenance, and getting anything done or fixed takes weeks. Grass is not mowed routinely, dumpster overflows daily and there is no tenant access to compress the trash (despite having asked countless time). The parking lot floods BADLY whenever there is more than a couple inches of rain, and upon asking for some solution, we ...

were informed it would be at least WEEKS so they could take bids on the job of removing the tree that had grown in the drainage pipe. Nearly flooded the car just trying to go to work. If you have good neighbors, things may be bearable. If you do not, good luck as getting any changes made is next to impossible. Overall, if you just need a place to sleep, you may have it. If you want a place to call home, you may want to keep looking if it's in your price range.
