0 communication even for applicants
August 8, 2024i have been trying to recieve an update on my application that i paid 50 for and they refuse to answer the phone or provide a email that is active to reach them at since the phone dont work clearly. i have been calling every hour on the hour and have not recieved one call back. no one has answered. not once and now theyre about to close. this is just the customer service i have recieved as an applicant not a resident . i can only imagineReview from Apartments.com

Not a safe area…PLEASE don’t consider this place
March 1, 2022I was initially drawn to check out this property for the low price. The front office staff never got back fo me after calling 3 times and leaving messages so I decided to just go ahead and go to the location and see it for myself. The photos looked really nice online and the apartment complex seemed to be updated on the inside- even the location seemed close enough to my work to be manageable so I decided to give it a shot. However, upon arriving to the complex to check it out I was shocked to ...see the poor condition it was in. The building was falling apart-grey bricks from the walls were laying on the pavement next to the building, there were people blaring loud music out of trunks in the parking lot, loitering around the entrance, and there were two suspicious individuals talking out front who were each picking their nails and rocking back and forth respectively….Keep in mind my visit was on a Tuesday around 2pm, not a weekend where I’d expect lots of tenants to be home from work. The complex is located right next to three scrap yards, directly in front of a garbage filled drainage basin under a major highway, surrounded by a chain link fence with barbed wire at the top like they have around prisons. Maybe the inside of the building was nice but I’ll never find out. The trashy and loud, run-down, area, and strange behavior of the people outside the building was more that enough to make me turn around and not want to consider living here!! Unfriendly experience!!!
April 19, 2019I attempted to look at the units available at this property twice, but my attempts failed due to lazy leasing agents. With so many apartments available online, the leasing agents limit the ones they want you to see. The management is very poor, and unhelpful. Only if you're desperate.
December 5, 2018This property looks nice. The surroundings, don't. The walls are extremely thing, you hear EVERYTHING your neighbors do. The train comes by at all hours of the night/morning. They allow all dogs and you can hear them barking ferociously at times in the hallway. The leasing staff is nice before you move in, after that, it seems as if they don't want to be bothered! Need a maintenance request? Good luck, there's only one maintenance guy currently. This was the worst apt I have chosen to live at. Id ...rather pay more for peace of mind.Property Manager Responded

Poor
February 27, 2018No one never answers the office phone. When I finally came to Richmond, I just walked-in. The receptionist was friendly. She showed me some amazing apartments. Management is bright, but not friendly. I think this place needs to hire a more spunky, and bubbly management team. Beautiful apartments, awful management
June 13, 2016These apartments are gorgeous and have great amenities. The pool is wonderful as is the rest of the buildings themselves. However, the management here is AWFUL. They have an extemely high turnover of residents due to this issue. The head leasing agent is rude and disrespectful to residents and does not help in any way it resedential issues. Wonderful experience to date
October 11, 2015New Manchester Flats is hidden across the water from downtown in an area currently undergoing major renovation and development. In an up and coming area, this location has a lot going for it and I've enjoyed it thoroughly. What made me want to review, however, had more to do with the staff. They are awesome and have been nothing but accommodating, polite, and helpful in every instance.
