Never a dull moment living mere feet from one of the most colorful avenues in Seattle... Aurora Ave North otherwise known as Old Highway 99. Nestled behind an AM/PM and the local Psychic and only a few steps away from one of the most affordable pawn shops in the area this choice little piece of property has been dubbed "The Jungle" by my friends for the excitement and character of the locals. Whether it be a man in lingerie and a cape excavating in our dumpsters (most popular on the whole ...

alley) or picking bullet casings out of my tire treads the thrills never pale! I figured it only appropriate to post a sign on my tiny little door that declares how amazing my frugal home is... "The Twilight Zone"! Taking the dogs for a walk is a silly little dance of "watch out for the used condom" and "don't step on that needle!" When the rental prices sky rocketed I was forced out of my comfortable, eastern skyline view of the mountains, security building into this diamond in the rough little shire - and I have proved that good area rugs, a few potted plants and some scented candles can make even the skeeziest, tiny hovel a Martha Stewart worthy cubby. Welcome to the Jungle baby... ;)
