Horrible leasing office
May 2, 2019
Advertised as a safe complex, when my roommate and I had our cars broken into the office ignored calls voicemails and emails. We requested more light in the parking lot the only thing they were willing to do was sell us a garage space for an additional 50 dollars a month. Had ant problems through the course of the entire lease and was told it was our responsibility. Lived here for one year will not be signing another lease.

  Hi, Phillip! We are so sorry to hear about the issues you had with contacting us. It is not clear when or who told you that pest control (ants) is your responsibility. It’s surprising to hear because that is not what we’re about. Arie noted that she spoke with you about your issues and then promptly contacted our maintenance staff regarding your two maintenance concerns as well as the pest control contractors to help with the ants. We assure you that our new management team, Justin and Arie, will continue to communicate and act quickly. They do care for our residents and their homes. Thank you for taking the time to contact us about your concerns, we do apologize for any inconvenience you may have had with any of our staff. We appreciate you being our tenant and plan to be on your side throughout your stay at Oakbrook Court!

Forget your Deposit
October 19, 2017
I stayed here for 3 years. While moving out I was charged in such a way that I had to pay more than the deposit of $500. When asked, I was told they had to replace a window. Even though the window was damaged when I moved in and mentioned in the inspection report, they were not ready to listen. There was leakage in window. When I complained about the insulation in winter, I was asked to take care of the insulation by myself. I spent money for the insulation by myself and while moving out I was ...
told to pay extra because I did damage to the window! Very poor management.
