I hate this place I’m no longer comfortable here, roaches, spiders and mice are driving me crazy. I’m tired of losing sleep and maintenance having an attitude when they come over and put a bandaid on everything and not fixing the problem

I moved in here a two years ago and 1st year I thought I lucked up with a spacious living room and big master bedroom and small second bedroom, by the 2nd year boy was I wrong 14 months of me living here I started seeing spiders,water bugs, and bed bugs... I called the office and explain the situation they told me they would have someone out asap to fix this problem, ok cool they claim they came base off the note on my door saying they were here and the problem was fixed, even mentioned how good ...
my apartment smells and how clean it was so if the problem was “fixed” why approximately two weeks later I’m up 2am feeling things crawl on me, my girlfriend rolling herself up like a blunt so she won’t get bite (my bed is against the wall) my roommate has OCD and he’s freaking out because spiders constantly are coming through his windows which was cracked, so I went ahead and bomb it myself and bought traps and fly catchers,spray the whole 9, mind you I have no pets have a slight case of OCD myself so I’m always cleaning even when it’s clean but no it only gets better so today 3/29/18 I just got home from pulling a double and want to take a shower and the tub is clogged up for the 8x this month...wait wait it’s gets better, So after showering I went to lay down and happen to dose off to start hearing squeaky noise ? so now there’s mice too, yeah I don’t play with those type of creatures so I’m moving, as far as the staff they’re ok (Jenny) Christina is a liar I done caught her in a couple lies over these pass few months and so have my neighbors, honestly I’m done the rent goes up every year while nothing improves in there units, I’ve been told there was going to be a gym years later still nothing ohh but it’s in the works, yea ok honestly the only good part about this complex is it’s right next to everything but for what you have to deal with your better off finding something else. Mice and roach infestation

Live in a unit that is mice and roach infested. Pest control sucks. No central air or heat. A/c unit in living room does not circulate to the back of the apartment. Don't plan on renewing lease.

Bad experience

WHEN I moved in everything was great until about 4 months later I started hearing scratches inside the wall. There would be mouse's running around everywhere I called mateinence like 7 times and they still did a poor job of patching the holes smh. One time I trapped about 6 in one night and I also live on the 1st floor and NO the office didn't offer a discount or anything all they cared about was getting there rent money on time.

This is the WORSE apartment complex EVER!! The comment saying the staff is wonderful and this and that person are always nice and professional is a straight LIE!!!! You have so many issues from roaches, spiders,birds in the house, plumbing backed up, BLACK MOLD EVERYWHERE, ceilings flowing down, a.c. breaking in 110 weather, etc. If you could think of a worse place to live it would be here. Every neighbor of mine hated this place and couldn't wait to get it. We have men and woman who sacrificing ...
there life's for us and see an appointment with cheap rent and near the base but get the worse places ever! They should not have to live in that situation no one should EVER live in such a HORRIABLE place like Oakmont north!

DO NOT LIVE HERE!!! Not only do you have to deal with roaches all the time everyday no matter how clean your place is or how many times you get pet control to come to your place, you have to deal with maintenance coming in and out of your house stealing belongings and not leaving notes saying they were in your place. For example within 24 hours of me moving in I was rob by a maintenance man, the reasoning of how I know it was him is because I had stopped by the office to tell them that something ...
was broken and needed to be replace, the lady said okay I will make a note and they will come by Monday morning(this is friday) I had came home from the store(same day)walking back to room and watched the man walk out of my place, confused, thinking they were suppose to come Monday didn't think much of it until I walked inside and went into a certain drawer to notice that ALL my money was taken!!!(told office to know longer allow them to come in home without my knowledge)Other example of knowing that maintenance walks in your place with out leaving notice or telling you they were coming, is one of my blinds had broken by trying to open them and I got a letter on my door saying I needed to fix the blind or I was going to be charged for damage. How would they have known without walking through my house? Another reason to NOT live here is I had paid my rent (thank goodness I got poof of paying) 3 days later I got a eviction later on my door saying I didn't pay my rent and I had to pay double the rent or leave. They had lost my money order.. (responsible) I would NOT advice someone to live here unless there ready to deal with all this!!

I have lived at the this complex for a year and it is 'OK'. I would advise any prospective renter to really research this complex before moving in. I have a 3 bedroom apartment currently renting at $880 . The three bedrooms are about 850 sq ft but your utilities such as water and heat are included which is an awesome deal. My electric bill is never over $80 except for in the summertime.
The apartments only come with one air conditioning wall unit which is located in the living room so the back ...
rooms are terribly hot in the summertime. You have the ability to put your own window a/c unit. In the winter time, you are not able to control your own heat so sometimes you have to suffer through that and open up windows to let cool air in. I don't believe this is true in all units because my downstairs neighbor informed me that they are able to control their heat.
The grounds are kept in perfect condition. I believe the community focuses on the outside of the apartments but take very little interest on the condition of the inside of the apartment. There is no visitors parking. If your blinds face the front of the apartment community, if they even appear to have something wrong with them, you are charged, depending on what blind is replaced. The blinds in my bedroom haven been severely damaged for months and they could care less about them.
With this apartment you really have to weigh the pros and cons. Like I stated before if you are a prospective renter, be sure to research this community thoroughly.

I have been living here just about 2 years. While I love the quiet area and your neighbors not bothering me. I would say is my only problem is that the AC is suppose to fullfill every room, however, it does not and when its hot outside you definitly can tell. The lawn is always taken care of and the office staff is very sweet and if you have a problem maintenance is on top.
