Overview City Side was completed in 2017, whereas Overview River Side was constructed in 2014.     Just moved in not even a week ago but i’m loving it so far. So far the staff is pretty nice, free parking hasn’t been too bad to get, and overall just a major upgrade from my last apartment!

  • The poorest management I have ever experienced

    This place is in a central location and within walking distance from VCU Medical Center. The gym is quiet and has free Wi-Fi. The preinstalled internet is definitely a convenience. However, all these advantages cannot make up for the poor construction quality and the least responsive management I have ever experienced thus far. Even before I moved in, management sent me the wrong floor plans. Moreover, the models are not exactly representative of the actual space as I painfully realized when I ...
    compared my planned furniture geography to the actuality of the floor plan. Loud music is the norm and none of the management seems willing to apply the community rules. Moreover, they are not responsive to any emails. I have personally sent them 5 emails over a period for one month without receiving a single response or any attempt to address my concerns. The quality of construction is questionable at best. Insulation is suboptimal despite being a relatively new construction and the a/c units are rather loud. The idea of placing the a/c and the boiler by the "living room" (in a real world probably the bedroom) is weird to say the least. Moreover, in my floorplan the person who designed the place made sure the a/c vent blows air right over my gas stove, making cooking and having the a/c on an adventure +/- fire hazard. The parking lot seems to hold a lot of water after every rain, being dangerously slippery and probably an injury lawyer's dream. In conclusion, I would recommend against this property, especially if you are a young professional who wants to relax at his or her apartment. I am personally seriously considering to move out of her as soon as possible. One can find many properties nearby where at least he or she will feel respected.
