When I moved out, the community manager confirmed to me that the carpet was over 5 years old, and that the Palisades will be replacing it automatically per the lease, so I should not bother cleaning it. After moving out, I was billed $140.00 for a carpet cleaning. I was also billed $140.00 for unnecessary cleaning service to the apartment. The account manager was unresponsive to my emails about these amounts. I would avoid the Palisades. The apartments also get moldy very easily. Even with the ...

Everything was perfect except for increasing the rent while lease renewal

I live in The Palisades apartment in Bellevue, WA. This is good apartment in terms of public transport access, the location, etc. Apartment has decent amenities and the maintenance is very good, and it's a very safe neighborhood. I rented this apartment in Winter and so the rent was cheap during that time, but during renewal they are increasing it to 10%, and they are asking me to confirm it before 2 months, if not then the price increase will be even more. I thought this is ridiculous, in ...
allowing someone to rent the house and then charge them, thinking that they will be lazy to move out.
