    This apartment is pretty well located. It is easy to get most everywhere including lots of interesting places on Hollywood Blvd. The price has been fairly reasonable until recently. We just got a notice on our door saying the rent is going up from $1600 to $1900. That's why we're moving out. The new price actually puts these apartments in a similar bracket with Hollywood area apartments. The downside to these apartments is that they are not always well maintained. Up until a few months our ...
    elevator was out of service. It was out for seven about six or seven months. During this time, I was using crutches and it was rough going. The railing on the back steps was painted a couple months ago, which was nice, but the neon green painters tape is still attached to the wall. The floors in the hallway are never cleaned, but painted over every couple of years or so. A new "fitness room" has been added and has recently opened, but so far there is just a single treadmill in it. The door to the parking garage has been jimmied open since I've lived here. About 3 years. Consequently, my car was broken into last night. There are often transients in out garage doing suspicious things and our mail has also been tampered with. I don't want to make this place sound worse than it is. I have mostly enjoyed living here, but if the rent is going up, we haven't been seeing any of the benefits to cleanliness or safety. Hope this helps

    The apartments are as up to date on the exterior, yet the interior is updated and well unkept. Maintenance request don't really take that long and a good price for the area.
