Very bad experience
May 14, 2025I lived in this apartment for nearly two years and had several frustrating experiences, especially with the property manager. Once, my scooter was stolen after I left it briefly in the hallway. I asked to check the security footage, but the manager said I had to file a police report first. Strangely, before the police even arrived, he called to say the cleaning crew had it. He reminded me that hallways are “public areas,” and they take no responsibility for stolen items—even if left for ...seconds. What confused me most was how difficult it was to access footage to find my stolen item, yet when I briefly placed an old mattress on the trash platform, the manager appeared in seconds. No greeting—just: “I have a question. Why did you put your stuff there?” His tone was rude and aggressive. He somehow knew exactly which room I came from and where I put the item. I felt constantly watched—he even warned me that if I threw anything in “his area,” he’d see it and fine me $150. On another occasion, I asked about a possible issue with my utility bill, and he coldly said it wasn’t his responsibility and told me to figure it out myself. Between the surveillance overreach, double standards, lack of basic courtesy, and unwillingness to help, I can’t recommend this place. April 7, 2023Whoever runs this place is a LIAR. Worked for so long trying to find somewhere to live this upcoming fall semester. Found an apartment here and talked with them and was promised multiple times that once we put down the security deposit that the place was ours. A few days after putting down the deposit, followed up and was told that it was gone! They gave the apartment to someone else, and tried to say that they attempted to reach out to us about the lease but did NOT at ALL. A great experience so far
February 24, 2023My partner and I just moved into Park Plaza earlier this month, and everything so far has been fantastic. From quick responses during the application process, to the move in, to the few maintenance requests we've had so far, everything has been easy, clear cut, and fast. Dale and Darlene are some of the most personable property management staff I've ever encountered, with a special nod to Darlene for entertaining a few stupid questions and helping with everything I've needed help with. The ...building is clean, in a great location, and secure. The amount of daylight our unit receives is also fantastic, with a great view of the skyline. The walls are thick and the neighbors quiet. You can walk everywhere and the immediate blocks are very safe, with Monroe Park quite literally across the street. Great apt, friendly staff
August 8, 2022I lived here for 2 years (even during the pandemic) and had the best experience. No rodents or bugs or anything like that, common rooms are very clean and well maintained. Staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, during the pandemic they were super understanding of our needs and helped us out. New To The City
September 27, 2018I wanted something where all the utilities were included but in the end I chose this place for a couple reason. Parking is gated and cheaper than everywhere around here. The same company has had the building since it was built which mattered to me cause I came from a place where the company changed all the time and in some cases the same year. When I called I spoke to darling the lady in the office, she invited me to come in and meet with the manager. He seems hands on and has managed the very ...few issue I’ve had since I’ve been here and he didn’t try to take all my money like other places. The maintience is the quickest I’ve ever seen with apartment living. I give 4 stars because of the utilities not being include and I wanted new carpet when I come in, washing machine is too small and gym has no room for workoutProperty Manager Responded
