Had mine repeatedly tell me my AC was fixed and it wasn't, tried to tell me the problem was normal (the AC taking 8 hours to go down 7 degrees) when it wasn't. I am no week 2 of this issue 2. They tack on a service 'fee' to your rent payments and give you NO option to avoid the fee. 3. Lots of noise living here--some sort of manufacturer and race track across the road and drag strip a bit further provide a LOT of noise on the evenings and ...weekends. Highway noise the rest of the time. 4. Parking lot in poor shape, little effort made to pick up trash. 5. Managers only rarely answer the phone or are in the office.Read More

Once you dig through the fake 5 star reviews AFI posts for themselves, you'll see the real reviews and find out how they really treat clients, tenants and employees. Its sad that the new crew didn't do their research before accepting the job. Rent went up too much and some of the new crew are kind of sketchy acting. Won't be staying much longer like a lot of people around here.

December 18, 2020 - Review from Apartments.comMy mom and me been through a lot I am disabled and in a wheelchair for distant walking and she has fought double lung cancer this last year. The Maintenance crew and Management have been there for us 110 percent. When she was at her worse they helped us when they didn't have to a really great bunch of people they truly stepped up, yes things could be better in some areas but that is in any place you are going to live even if you own your own home. They do the best they can with what they are ...given and they all work there tails off so for me and my mom this is a great place to live and I give them all a ton of praise. July 18, 2018 - Review from Apartments.comIt's nothing fancy, but they could put a little more effort into fixing the place up. The parking lot is the worst. Potholes, random bumps, people park wherever they want - regardless of whether it's an actual parking spot or not. The manager apparently hates nature, but loves watching residents. Trees are always in the process of being cut down a little at a time until they finally disappear. Cameras are always showing up in random areas, and not necessarily in areas that need watching. ...Maintenance personnel are always keeping an eye or ear out as well. If you say or do anything that they don't like, you'll hear about it from the manager shortly after, even if it doesn't violate any rules. The rent slowly creeps up every year, making it easy to look elsewhere for housing. There is always an excuse, but never an explanation. Each year, there are more and more "inspections" as well. Management seems to forget that these are people's homes, their private areas where they carry on their personal lives. No EPB internet! . The owners have deals with Comcast and AT&T, so they won't let EPB run service to the apartments. The area does have smart meters and smart grid, though, so the fiber is there, the owners just don't want to lose that extra money from the competitors. The owners/management don't seem to realize that they'd attract better quality, long-term residents, if they made it a place that people actually want to live, and offered things that tenants want, instead of just being greedy and treating like a business. Here's an idea -ask for suggestions from your current residents, and then actually implement some of those ideas. If the owners/management/staff actually had to live on-site, things would change for the better pretty quickly.Read More

June 11, 2018 - Review from Apartments.comThinking about moving here? TURN AWAY. The maintenance crew and the management is borderline useless. Currently at the end of my second month without Air Conditioning. After half a dozen service requests they still refuse to call in an expert on the matter even though they willingly admit they don't know how to work on these units. All I have really gotten is excuses. On top of this they are raising the rent another $100 this year for seemingly no reason at all. This will be the third year in a ...row they raised it. The parking lot is still barely driveable, the pool is closed because they waited until the summer to begin working on it. No new landscaping. No new appliances. Nothing has been done to improve the property to add value so that still puzzles me. I'm very thankful to be leaving this awful place.Read More

August 14, 2015 - Review from Apartments.comI have lived in several apartments in my life and I find this the best. It is not a luxury apartment and it is older, but the things that matter to me are here. For example, it is QUIET! The apartments are built well so almost no sound leaks into my apartment from any other apartments. Occasionally I hear something, but it is never disturbing. I never hear shouting or loud music or televisions or arguments. The management has strict policies about noise inside and in the parking areas as ...well. There are lots of trees around, so it feels like it is in a more rural type of setting, although it isn't. There is a 10% discount on rent for seniors, which is great for those on a limited income. I have two bedrooms, washer/dryer connections and a separate dining area (lacking in many apartments). There are two half bathrooms connected by a separate room with a bathtub/shower. That is great for having guests; both overnight and during the day. The negatives are that the complex is older and the appliances are older. If you must have the latest appliances this is not the place for you. The kitchen is also very small, but works well for me, even when cooking for guests. I have seen a lot of apartments that look better, but none that function better.Read More
