I LIVE ON THIS PROPERTY
April 1, 2024Perkins Rowe is a great place to live in, a miniature city! Perkins Rowe Apts are nice, no elevators, but that was fine. THE PROBLEM HERE: Wifi can be an issue depending on where I am standing in my apartment so much so that I don't pay bills online inside my apartment as I've paid some twice...WATER PRESSURE: it's an issue here in Louisiana, and having a shower you will experience it..DOGS: They allow them which is great BUT TENANTS DONT PICK UP AFTER THEIR DOGS ON THE PROPERTY, and there is dog ...poop everywhere...management doesn't enforce any other policies then emails...THE POOL: this property has the best pool in this area, which is a perk to live here..HOWEVER ANYONE CAN WALK ONTO THE PROPERTY AND USE IT...LITERALLY. On the weekends? IT IS THE WORST, tenants are only allowed 2 guests...the music is loud, there is no security and it leaves a tenant open to an altercation with someone that doesn't live here...living in apartments is COMMUNAL LIVING...it requires one to be respectful to others..living here? I've turned around and left due to what was going on at pool. the pool policy? to enforce it, there needs to be someone to be there for safety purposes. these are things you will not know unless you live here and see it.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Overall, I loved living here—quality experience
October 25, 2021I really loved living in Park Rowe. It’s a bit expensive for the sq-ft, but the quality of experience makes up for that. Over 12 months of living here, I only needed to call maintenance twice and they showed up and fixed my issues the same day. There is trash pickup every weekday, which is very convenient (though I often brought my trash to the dumpster myself). The gym, pool, grills, and little dog park are great. I felt safe here, even walking my dog at night. And there are many trash cans ...for disposing of dog waste—though not everyone used them unfortunately :/ Parking was always available, though visitors must park in certain visitor areas and hang a visitor placard on their rear view—this was strictly enforced. I’ve seen people’s cars booted within minutes of them parking. Annoying when your visitor is booted, but this policy ensures there’s always available parking for residents. I love the Perkins Rowe area. It’s mostly expensive boutiques, but it’s a very nice area to walk around and I always go to Barnes and Noble.
