  • Don’t do it!

    September 23, 2022
I should’ve known not to move in when I couldn’t even get someone to get back to me to tour…or when I ran into current residents that warned me not to sign the lease. We’ve lived here 10 months now and I’ve never had such an awful experience. I was towed when we first moved in while they conveniently forgot to give us a pass, our AC was out for three weeks in July forcing us to move out, and our washing machine completely broke. It was impossible to get ahold of anyone during these issues. Not to ...
mention it’s in a flood zone, half of the wiring doesn’t work properly, the bathrooms don’t have outlets, and there are no overhead lights in the majority of the unit.

  • Do NOT live here

    December 4, 2021
I have lived here for over 3 years and haven’t met a single person who has had a good experience. Property management has changed over 5 times and they have all been horrible. Townhomes are outdated and full of mold. Maintenance ppl are great and super friendly, but they can only do so much. Portals for paying rent have changed multiple times. Most recently we were charged over 150.00 for water and instead of having us wait to pay rent until the issue was fixed, they told us to pay rent to ...
avoid late fees when this was their error. The back parking lot has turned into a spot for drug use, selling, and homeless people to sleep in their cars. I feel very unsafe and hate having to let my dogs out at night. I even have one dog that is TRAINED IN PP and still feel unsafe. People will sit in their car ALL day for multiple days able to see residence routines and when we are gone, home, or without our dogs. Do not recommend this place to anyone. Pay the extra 100+ to live elsewhere.

  • Stay Away

    September 22, 2021
The location and size of the apartments are great. That’s where the good ends. Wellington Advisors is the worst property management company ever. They only staff the leasing office two days a week, and the other three days are impossible to reach by phone. Resident’s cars frequently get towed. It seems like they are making the experience horrible on purpose to force people to move out.

  • Great space Excellent Location

    January 16, 2021
I moved in last year and have really enjoyed my townhome. I’ve been stuck at home due to covid and I love that I have easy access to the greenway for exercise and Trader Joe’s for shopping. I have also liked my apartment, I originally got it because it’s close to work but it’s exactly what I needed both inside and out. I don’t really have any complaints at all. I have really enjoyed my time here and plan to renew.

  • Amazing location, nicely renovated townhomes

    December 19, 2018
Nicely renovated townhomes in a great Five Points location inside the I-440 beltline. You really cannot beat the location- awesome neighborhood, across from the Kiwanis Park and close to everything. The townhomes have hardwood floors up and downstairs- even in the bedrooms. The layout is sensible, and the best part is nobody is living above you like they are in a traditional apartment.

  • Sweet and Sour

    November 16, 2015
Imagine laying on your couch looking out your windows onto what seems to be beautiful Carolina Mountain Trees. Then imagine picking up your phone and ordering an uber to Downtown Raleigh, estimated fare $8. Ya. That’s where it’s at. This place boasts old charm (original wood floors in some areas, large rooms, rod iron stair rails) with modern function (open concept, brand new windows, updated HVAC controls, granite, stainless steel appliances). I can not complain at all about location, ...
cleanliness, responsiveness to maintenance requests, privacy, etc. One sour apple is staff. On the surface they’re great, bubbly, inviting, host amazing events. However when questions/concerns arise they fall short. I’ve had a few things come up, nothing major, most solved with leasing office staff. However when trying to execute first months rent via online pay, a hot mess ensued. Long story....Long, I fat fingered my account number and edited it immediately after. The next day, I noticed rent still was not drafted from my account. Well before the dreaded 5th of the month deadline, I called the leasing office to trouble shoot the issue. I am assured everything is fine “sometimes it just takes a long time the first time around”. So …. here comes the 6th and the office calls to alert me my payment did not go through and I would be "spared the late fee but have to pay the returned check fee”. Umm…. come again? Unsure of what I could have done differently (corrected error on my end, called office and had them look at it, was assured it would work out) I bring to their attention my confusion and the classic “there’s nothing we can do about it, please be in touch as soon as you suspect theres an issue in the future” line was dropped. So to finish my due diligence I ask to speak with a manager. I was told she would be in touch early the following week and SURPRISE…. nothing. Ok cool. This was disappointing at best. My fiancé and I are in a position to relax and save money before buying, so we’re looking to settle in somewhere to save on rent and be happy for longer than a traditional 1 year lease. However considering this first impression and weariness of future money grabs, we would probably jump to another community if the opportunity presented itself. Which is a shame because staff excluded, this place is great.
