HORRIBLE KEEP LOOKING
January 9, 2019Don’t waste your time!!! There are plenty of places in channelside. Our cars always hit things on the ceiling of the parking garage (the gate to the garage has been broken half the time of us living here also). They will randomly decide they need to pressure wash a bunch of balconies and will enter your apartment without even having the decency to give you an exact day or time!! The top pool deck and workout room was closed for months for “renovation” and nothing had been done except noisy ...construction that you can hear from. The pool is filthy. They show you what they want you to see!! Much more beautiful apartments elsewhere for way cheaperProperty Manager Responded

Terrible
May 2, 2017The management here is absolutely the worst. I was asking them a question about getting taken off the lease and they were being extremely rude to me about it. I was only trying to clarify the information they had told me. When I told them that they didn't need to be so rude to me about it, the manager literally laughed and told me I was being rude. This is so unprofessional, I have had wonderful experience at other apartments in the past. This is not what I was expecting from a luxury apartment. ...I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.Property Manager Responded

It's ok. Overpriced
August 24, 2015Location is good at Channelside. However for the price, the infrastructure is not as nice as it could be. People walk/run in the hallway, it feels like the whole building is shaking, lights blinking. Being on the 2nd floor of the 4-story building, ants/bugs getting in from the patio, non-wood flooring, small window in the bedroom and weird hall to the bedroom, etc... paying almost 1600 is a lot for that. The location doesn't do that much any more.Review from Apartments.com
Nice place to live
August 9, 2015Pierhouse is a relaxing, comfortable place to live. It's always clean and the residents are friendly. It is dog friendly and everyone usually follows the rules. There's an orange theory fitness and new pizza place in the complex, so it's perfect for anyone's lifestyle. Nice Place Overall
August 4, 2015Live on the top floor so We have the nice 11 foot ceiling plus we dont hear footsteps from above (I have heard lower floors complain about it). The apartments are very spacious and the balcony as well. The pool area/gym is great. We had a bad experience with stolen bikes because the garage door was out of service for months and they take no responsibility for personal property in the garage...Review from Apartments.com

August 4, 2015We've been at Pierhouse for almost a year and a half now. My husband and I live at a 2/2 apartment, super spacious, lots of room to move around, 3 closets (2 walking closets). The kitchen has lots of space which I LOVE. We don't use the pool area/jacuzzi that often but when we do it is always enjoyble! We do use the bbq in all different common areas of the complex, we gather with our friends to cook and drink on the weekends or sometimes just cook something and go upstairs to eat it. They say that anything that you decide to put in the garage is under your responsability so they wont do anything to help you. Fruit flies and garage issues
August 3, 2015The trash room is constantly swarming with fruit flies that some how find their way into the apartments on the first floor. It's overwhelming. They spray frequently but the problem is not accurately addressed. There is also almost always some sort of malfunction with the garage gate. The management tries, but they are poorly equipped to deal with the same issues over and over again. Since the beginning.
July 21, 2015I have lived at Pierhouse since they opened and have enjoyed my time for the most part. Below I will list out the pros and cons. I live in the cayman unit on the pool. Pros: Large closet's - master bedroom has two large walk in closets. Granite counters throughout - both bathrooms and the kitchen have dark granite counters. Common areas - lots of common areas with good amenities. Location - downtown channelside is growing and Pierhouse is right in the middle of it. Pet friendly - dogs and cats ...are in abundance with lots of places to walk your dogs. Cons: Thin walls - you can hear people walking the halls and if someone is wearing heels above you you can hear them. Maintenance Staff - unfriendly personas are not something you would expect from them all, but thats what you get.
