Prairie at Yukon apartments is located in the heart of Yukon! Blocks away from school, eating out, and shopping! We have 24 hr. emergency maintenance, along with management and all staff live on property. We have weekly community activities for the children along with plenty of space for them to run and play!   • don’t ever live here

    the management is run by children who will argue with you as such. they come and spray for bugs every month yet i had to bug bomb my own apartment because wherever they “spray” didn’t even work. you can get a much nicer apartment any where else in yukon for better price trust me when i say DO NOT EVER LIVE HERE!

    Been here 4 years and never dealt with any drama like other apartments I’ve lived. I’m quick to fight so it’s nice to live somewhere drama free no gangs or fights. My family loves it here friendly atmosphere

  • ROACHES EVERYWHERE

    If you care about your health and belongings at all then do not move here. There are roaches EVERYWHERE!! They claim to do monthly pest control but that’s a complete lie, they drop bait in two cupboards and it doesn’t do anything to the roaches. The management will take weeks/months to get any maintenance issues fixed. Very rude people, I’ve never run into such an unprofessionally run apartment complex.

      We do monthly pest control on every unit and if you feel this isn't working please call and speak to the manager. We can have your unit sprayed. We want every resident to have a good experience and are saddened to know you haven't.   • Misinformation

    The above information is either incorrect or not honored. The water is NOT included in the price. Which is quite a surprise...under utilities included water is listed as included!and the site was updated 2 days ago sooo... I know they could fix that they just want to confuse their prospective tenants. There is NOT a courtesy patrol. The units are NOT cable ready. There are NOT two pools there is Not even one. They are removing the fireplaces and chimneys so there are NOT fireplaces. The closets ...
    are NOT walk-ins more like reach-ins. I have only seen one laundry room. I have not heard of a renters insurance program...but maybe it is only with the remodeled units. Which I’m supposed to transfer to soon. It’s a surprise that this site is inaccurate. But I’m sure it will soon be fixed. See the place is trending the correct direction but integrity and the surprises people encounter due to misinformation that is listed that they can see causes people to not trust what they can’t see.

  • Avoid it like the plague

    I’ve lived here three months and I’m living my own worst nightmare. I am constantly killing cockroaches, today in fact I killed three. Two days ago I found one an inch and a half long crawling along my kitchen counter. I am not a dirty person, and I’ve asked them to get rid of them FIVE times. They say they have a pool and three laundry rooms but their pool has been filled in and is an eyesore, and their laundry rooms never work and when they do they are filthy. I take my laundry elsewhere. The ...
    neighborhood isn’t bad, but since they are renovating there is no chance of sleeping past 7 AM weekday or weekend. Point is, this place is terrible and I wouldn’t wish living here on my worst enemy.

As for the pool yes we filled the old ones in and by next pool season there will be a brand new one. We did have an issue with the laundry room. The company that owns them had not came out and collected the money so they didn't work. Again so sorry for any issues may have had and we would love the opportunity to make it right.

  • Not too good

    Although they are making changes to it, we had paid for a deposit was all ready to move in and then our phone broke so the day comes but we had been emailing the lady back in forth. When we could call we called 4 days straight. Third day someone finally answers but tells us they are closed and couldn’t care less about us. Finally the 4th day and we find out that they gave our apartment away. How could they of done that when they were suppose to be “closed”? The lady on the phone wasn’t too nice ...
    either, she didn’t care she screwed us and actually hung up on us after we asked how she gave it away when she couldn’t even answer the phone for 4 days!

  • Great place for a family

    We love it here so far, our 3 boys have tons of room to run around and they go to this little courtyard craft every week and go play on the playground, they just love it here, a lot of kids to run around with, gives momma a little break. We enjoying are apartment a lot, its actually bigger than my last house and very reasonable in price. We keep it very clean and ive never had a bug problem. Work orders get done in a timely fashion and catie and barb always are very sweet and understanding

    They have cleaned this property up so much in the last couple of months! We love the people who live next to us! There are not the issues here that we had before! They spray each apartment once a month, and heck they even checked out smoke alarm and ac filter. THIS PLACE IS MOVING UP!

  • Cant wait for a remodeled unit!

    We currently live here and have noticed a lot of things happening in the community, and can not wait for a new refinished apartment, our is just fine how it is but the new ones look so fancy. They started putting a playground up and it looks like the doing some stuff in the laudry rooms so I'm very happy to keep calling it home. We are really close with the office staff they always take care of us and get our work done in a timely fashion.

  • Great place for a big family

    Its been really awesome so far, we've been here for about 2 weeks and nothing to complain about. Our 3 kids have lots of room to run around and very very big apartments, about the size of a house, so definltye work the money. We've also came from a different complex in Yukon that was just a run down mess with rude managers!! Its been crazy but we are finally unpacked and getting cozy before the seasons start
