June 30, 2025At first glance, this residential complex makes a good impression: beautiful photos, promises of comfort, amenities for every taste. But as soon as the contract is signed, a completely different story begins. The fitness room is a formality. There is barely enough space for a couple of people, and some of the equipment has not worked for a long time. The grill area is nominal: it is often out of order. The most surprising thing is the approach to children. The playground is located right next to ...the trash cans, under the scorching sun, without shade or basic comfort. The smell from the hot trash is unbearable. There is no place for children to play at all. The office with a fireplace in the picture is not a place for your work or social meetings. Employees work there and are not even allowed to talk on the phone. Printer cartridges are not changed on time, the computer now only works as a browser, and it is impossible to print documents. Every step and conversation can be heard in the apartments — there is no sound insulation. In winter, the floors are icy, and there are drafts through the front door. Something is constantly breaking and falling apart. And the dishwasher is rusting and leaving stains. The main and most surprising thing is the attitude of the staff towards the residents. A lack of any ethics, rudeness, disrespect, not even a small smile or apology, attempts to cut costs with arrogance are called caring for neighbors. You can live here — but for this money, you will definitely find a place where you will be treated with respect.Property Manager Responded

Providence Park excellent South Charlotte community
January 30, 2025Our family has lived in this community 3 years. We love the spacious apartment and modern amenities. It is a lovely neighborhood and excellent location. The office staff, Ms. Cheryl the property manager as well as everyone in the office is very involved in making the community safe and welcoming. The maintenance team are wonderful and always available. Everyone is invested in making this a great community. Also the local schools, elementary, middle and high school are the top in the region ...and some of the best in the state. We also appreciate all the extra amenities Providence Park has. Rude Office Staff.
August 12, 2022Nice Apartments, Rude office Staff. Specifically a lady named Meagan. She called me concerning packages I had that were not picked up by me. Which is fine, I continued to inform her the chaos of finding packages in the mail room that are not properly placed in the right area of residents last names which many residents have had trouble with. She goes on to give me a statistic that 99% of mail packages are placed in the right area which is untrue. As to discredit my concern in a rude manner. I ...have stood for 20 mins in the mailroom before searching for my package that was placed in the wrong area on multiple occasions. Office staff needs training on how to professionally create dialogues with residents and be polite towards them. Noise
October 29, 2018There is a big hidden problem which might not come to your attention even if you see your apartment thoroughly before renting. Look outside your window and if you see those huge air-conditioners next to your rooms, do not rent the apartment. The noise will give you sleepless nights. Don't expect the leasing office to reveal this problem. I would rather prefer sleeping in a flour mill than at home. My 2 bed has literally turned into 1 bed because one of them is useless, I need to bear with this ...for the next 7 months.Property Manager Responded

Agree with make sure you have evidence and the crime
September 30, 2018I found out about the car break ins and other crimes via word of mouth. It seemed that after enough heard and began asking questions of the office, that’s when notices went out....longer than 24 hrs later. In regards to evidence, the maintenance mgr piled up a long list and when asked for THEIR evidence, there was none. I agree they are looking to bill the renter for everything and that piles up with higher charges even though they rare pro-rated as a the complex responded. October 29, 2018Providence Park Management is very quick to send emails to all residents any time an incident occurs. Most recently an email was sent to all residents just as soon as we were notified, letting them know that several cars had been entered. In every single case, a door was left unlocked. Even though not one car was broken into, valuables left in vehicles were taken. In the email to all residents, Management reminded residents to make sure to lock all car doors and to not leave anything visible inside. If you did not receive that email, please lets us know so that we can make sure the email address we have for you is the most current.

April 27, 2016Be careful when vacating the apartment. Take pictures and have an official walk through to eliminate their opportunity to claim extensive damage. If reporting issues, take pictures and report via email vs phone messages. Crime in the complex is not widely reported. Find out through other tenants. August 20, 2015Recently moved in and it's pretty great so far! The people are nice and lots of our neighbors have dogs just like we do. My boyfriend and I just recently graduated from college and this is a great place to start off at because it's not too expensive.
