If you are an animal lover than this apartment complex is the one for you. There are plenty of rats and mice to keep you company. You spend more money on rat traps and fixing your car window from it being broken into than you do on rent. The rodent problem is out of control. Yes, they’ll tell people that tenants are dirty and leave food out. I promise you I kept my apartment clean and still had giant rats manage to chew through my walls. They’re all you hear at night and would often wake me up in ...
the middle of the night from scratching and screaming. Management’s idea of “fixing” the problem is filling the holes with foam or a wooden board. Not bringing in a pest control company. Some days you’d come home to the common area smelling like something died - it was defiantly a rodent somewhere.
Don’t bother doing laundry here. You’re better off washing your clothes in Lake Erie.
People leave the entry door open all the time. If you know the area then you know it isn’t safe. Everyone’s car was broken into earlier this year by windows being smashed in. Management didn’t seem to care at all. There are “security” cameras, but the wires are cut on the majority of them.
Do not give these people your money. This is hands down the worst place I have ever lived and I am so happy to be out.

Beware! Rat, flea and bed bug infestation

The Worst! It takes them weeks to respond to maintenance requests. Redwood apartment is rat, flea and bed bug infested because they allow multiple dogs in each apartment. Almost every apartment has 2-3 dogs or cats. When you try to tell management about it they don’t respond. The only way they try to fix anything is when you stop paying rent and take them to court and put their money in escrow. They do not care about their tenants they only want your money. The whole building is dirty and they have bed bugs that just keep coming back because the management refuses to exterminate the whole building.
