Noise after hours is acceptable here. Management does not care about their residents enjoying peaceful quiet living anymore. This used to be a great place but all that is great left is maintenance. . If you get a neighbor who starts at 9pm at night with loud noises and loud suround sound till all hours beware management will do nothing and corporate never returns calls. Also, the apartments are cheaply made and the rent is way over what it is worth with no pool or playground . Also, your HVAC ...
system is super loud, all appliances make loid noises, fan runs constant in bathroom, not pleasant at all. Definitely not a 5 or 4 start.

I have truly enjoyed my experience at this location. I love the open floor plans and especially enjoy the clean and modern features. The units are spacious and modern and have the convenience of one-floor living. The garages offer a tremendous amount of space that can accommodate my vehicle but also provides enough room for storage. The grounds are always well kept and aesthetically appealing. I can't say enough good things about the maintenance staff. They are always timely, professional, and ...

Redwood Living - Trails of Montville
I genuinely LOVE living here at the Trails of Montville by Redwood. The distinctive one-story apartments are very spacious and affordable. The staff is friendly and accommodating. It is, however, a little unorganized.
One month, I paid my rent late but dropped of a cashier's check from my bank. They "lost" it for about three weeks and sent me a notice saying that I had three days to move out or I would be evicted. I called and called to make sure they ...
found my check but the leasing agent I gave it to was on vacation. Finally, the property manager called to say they found it.

Overall I enjoy living here but there are a few downfalls. I love that all the apartments are one story so that you don't have neighbors above or below you. The walls are very thick between apartments so the noise level is very low, although noise from the outside (motorcycles, garbage trucks, children playing, etc.) can be heard but it is only slightly bothersome. I also love having an attached garage, it adds a lot of convenience. The maintenance men are amazing! They are the best I've ever ...

After new apartments were added to the complex they hired a new leasing office staff and personally I liked the woman that was in there before better than this staff. They aren't horrible but they don't always return calls or address issues you may have. There is also a bit of a bug problem, mostly spiders but also pill bugs and centipedes. Be prepared to spray for these bugs on your own because the leasing office doesn't consistently take care of this issue.
