Quality Has Dramitically Decreased Over Last Year
October 27, 2020I would never, ever move here again. The new management is completely inexperienced and inept. Carpets are stained with dog urine and never cleaned. Our floor constantly smells of marijuana, probably due to high percentage of students living here. Hallways are poorly lit, with burned out light bulbs which aren't changed for months. The parking lot at the side of the building has huge chronically overflowing trash bins and rats. There has been an abandoned car in one of two handicap parking spots ...which has been there for at least 6 months, illegally parked with no inspection sticker and very suspect. Historic Building, Great Location, Spacious Apartment
June 21, 2018I love living at the John Marshall; my apartment is very spacious with a huge bathroom and walk-in closet. The community also offers storage for seasonal décor. The location can't be beat as the community is within walking distance to restaurants, entertainment and parks. October 9, 2015location in central downtown richmond. i park my car on weekends and leave until monday workdays. everything i need is well within walking distance. the apartment complex is well kept. the staff are professional and responsive.my barber is located in the building as is a pool hall. the apartment itself is solid, quiet and has great city views.Review from Apartments.com

August 15, 2015The Residences at John Marshall is awesome! The apartments are beautiful and have fantastic views of the city, no matter which direction your apartment faces. The staff are extremely friendly hand helpful. The gym is extremely convenient has has all the equipment I need. There is a club room with a pool table and complementary coffee and tee any time day or night. Life in a City Landmark
September 4, 2015Once the largest hotel in the state (and decidedly one of the most beautiful buildings in the city), the Hotel John Marshall is an iconic part of the Richmond Skyline. Recently renovated into upscale apartments, the building is ideally located in the heart of downtown. The building has a large, well equipped fitness center (you will never wait to use a machine), and an amazing club room that offers a full-sized pool table, big screen TV, game table, and free single brew coffee machine with ...Starbucks coffee. The building is also incredibly safe with card only access to residential floors and full-time security staff.
