I recently moved in and couldn’t be happier with my choice. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making the leasing process smooth and enjoyable. I had the pleasure of working with Kaela. The amenities are top-notch, especially the pool and gym.
The location is perfect—close to Archer for shopping and restaurants and transportation to UF. My apartment itself is spacious and well-maintained, with great views and plenty of natural light.

Issue with manager

Since the day of move in (Aug-1-2024) we are having dryer issue problems. I have visiting the leasing office multiple times, but the issue was not fixed. Today the manager of Ridgemar Commons was yelling at me saying dryer issues are not an emergency issues. She asked me to dry our clothes in shower room.
Please find a good place where people treat you nicely. DON'T MOVE HERE

We’d like to clarify what happened during your recent visit to our office. At the time, we were dealing with a medical emergency involving another resident, which required our immediate attention. I apologize if this situation led to any misunderstandings. I had to speak over the injured resident we were assisting when you came in to inquire about your dryer, which was certainly not intended to come across as rude or dismissive.
Regarding your dryer, I want to emphasize that we did replace it that same day to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. We understand how inconvenient it is to be without a fully functioning appliance, and we're sorry for the disruption this caused.

The maintenance here is wonderful! They come check is a very timely manner, and they do a good job at solving the issue. Also, the location is conveniently located next to 34th Street, but tucked away, so it isn't too noise. I have also always felt safe here, and the area around it is pretty safe as well. The apartments are well kept and comfortable. Overall, a wonderful place to be, and I would recommend it to anyone.

Ridgemar Commons is a great place to live! The maintenance staff is quick to respond to complaints (yes they do come into your apartment but they don't barge in and they do ask to come in when you submit a request online). During Hurricane Irma, our roof started to leak, and we reached out to maintenance about coming to fix it. They weren't able to during the storm obviously, but we were able to control it and then fixed in the next available day they were safely able to work. The place is a ...
little expensive for a 2 bed 1 bath, but its worth it for the PRIME LOCATION to UF. It is an apartment complex, and you may hear your neighbors, but at least the ones around me are super nice and we all seem to be on the same type of schedules - young professional or graduate students (AKA courteous and quiet!). We got a dog in the middle of our lease, and the leasing office was super quick to provide any paperwork we needed for getting a dog without any hesitation. There are a lot of clean up stations around the property, and for the most part, people pick up after their pets! The dog park is popular and the dogs here are super friendly! We are moving after a year only because we found another place to live that was free, or else we wouldn't have moved. We enjoyed our time here and I would recommend it! Great location, great staff, great dog park/green areas for dogs to walk around, and a good place to live!

Do not live here if you value your privacy. The maintenance can bang on your door in the morning and ask you to not use your kitchen for an unspecified amount of time. They do not even wait a minute for you to open before barging in with their own keys. They often do work in the apartment and you are expected to put your life on hold till they are done, and they make it look like they are doing you a favor. I once told them that they could not come in but when I returned from work, they had ...
already used their keys to get in and start work. The grounds are not cleaned properly, and there are less expensive options very close by, with the same facilities.

The apartment staff are friendly and courteous. Even made worked overtime to assist move in on an off day. The neighbors are friendly and quit. The pond behind the apartment is serene and helps in me getting a good night's rest. Animals are all quit. You wouldn't know they allowed them. Amenities are also great. Couldn't ask for a better place to stay.
