March 8, 2020Perks: Close walk to shopping, clean laundry room, has a pool. Good to know: The photos of this property are misleading and seem to be photoshop color enhanced, lol it does not look that good here and majority of apartments are facing parking lot or tunnel ways, the small number of apartments facing the pool are rarely available for rent. Challenges: They only do a lease for 1 year because after year is over there is a rent increase, which you must accept or move out within 30 days. There is ...a no smoking rule for inside and outside property but people smoke anyways inside and outside, so smoke smell comes into apartment through walls and other places, especially if your windows are open. (no air conditioning so windows are usually open most of the year) Ritz Apartments is not as nice as other Apartment complexes in this area.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Nice pool, friendly staff, a little noisy
April 10, 2019Love the pool. Maintenance staff is friendly and very experienced and knowledgable. Less than 1 mile from Trader Joes and Target. Recently they now allow pets, big plus! The only negatives are that we can hear our neighbors to both sides of us, at normal talking level, so seems they can hear us too, so we tend to speak quietly, and, much of the exterior wood is rotted from termite damage. On the plus side the management is proactive and has termite service here semi regularly. There are rent ...increases immediately after one-year lease expires, however that is expected in any hot market. Landscaping is kept up nicely, okay parking, good schools, and best of all this place is in Encinitas, a wonderful place to live!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
