Killing it in 2019!
June 14, 2019I'm just completing a 15 month lease at River Edge and can now confidently post my review. I moved from my own single family home to an apartment which, naturally, I expected to be a disaster (the idea of sharing anything at the time was unfathomable). I honestly couldn't have had a better experience at River Edge. Management AND maintenance staff is truly wonderful (plus so nice to my little dog and always giving her treats!). The apartments are ridiculously spacious and fixtures (upgraded ...washer/dryer, soft close drawers, granite counters, etc.) are exceptional. I have a view of the beautiful pool (which is NEVER crowded) AND the New York City skyline. You can't beat the manicured grounds if you have a dog. No trouble finding parking and virtually zero noise coming from neighboring apartments (I had one volume issue with my downstairs neighbor which was promptly addressed and resolved by management). I'm moving out of state (the only reason I will not be renewing my lease) and am struggling to find a unit as large or well-appointed as mine in River Edge. Do not hesitate to move here! I would recommend... (Verified Renter)
August 3, 2018I would recommend this apartment because it is clean and the staff is very polite. I would not recommend this apartment unless they eliminated the valet trash service because this company does not consistently pick up the trash even though we are paying for it every month. The town of Garfield has "hard water" and the apartment does not provide any filtration system, which has affected our skin/health. I would also caution that there are many large dogs in this community.Review from Apartments.com

Chronic Elevator Problem - Elevators do NOT WORK
April 13, 2018The elevators do not work at this complex. Ongoing problems. Landlord has a major problem with this. The elevator has been down 20 times since the first of 2018. NJDCA has been notified. Run, don't walk from this complex.Review from Apartments.com

April 9, 2018While the security is wonderful I feel that $75.00 is a little excessive to get another key. We have 4 people, myself , husband and 2 teenagers living here and only 2 keys.
