Poorly kept and neglected

Dingy, stained, and generally poorly maintained stairwells will greet you on your way to the overpriced and neglected landlord-special we try to call "home". The appliances are serviceable, but there is little to no care taken to maintain the rest of the building. Many power outlets and light switches don't work. Doors are falling from their cracking frames. Locks are broken. When I arrived, I was greeted by mismatched blinds masking broken window panes. The paint on the cabinets is gluey and ...
sticky, applied in a rushed attempt to mask obvious flaws. Paint on the walls is chipped and cracked. Cabinet doors fail under their own weight. Towel racks fall out of the wall upon the application of, you guessed it, one single towel. There's litter in the stairwells, walkways, parking lots, and surrounding environment. Car break-ins are fairly commonplace. Overall, I would not recommend living here.
