  • Absolutely Vile Apartments

    The upkeep is horrid on these apartments. You will have roaches and silverfish all the time. The ceiling in the lobby constantly leaks. There’s dog pee and poop all in the common areas, especially the elevators. Hardly ever have hot water inside the apartments. Cars get broken into regularly. And the management staff is extremely unhelpful and unresponsive. Parking lot is filled with potholes and unlit spaces. Trust me. Run far from this place

  • Poor management

    So many car broken in to (at least 5 people we know personally) the office did nothing. The cameras don’t work well. And the hot water cuts off at least 2 times a week. The office workers are so rude and sound so inconvenienced when we call about anything.

    This place never have hot water . Hallways are nasty , grounds nasty , front management is terrible lie to you about things getting fixed . I don’t know who giving this place 5 stars but they are out there mind . This place is the projects .

  • The property needs work

    The building is old and still has popcorn ceilings. The new and updated renovations are good. Safety is a huge concern, the doors are often left wide open on the loading docks. Package retrieval through the locker system is convenient and secure. Not bad but definitely room for improvement.

  • Lovely Experience Here

    I plan to move out this summer, but wanted to take the opportunity to share how much I have loved it here. Many of the reviews will talk about crime in early 2023, but since Riverside brought in security at night, I don't think our parking lots have experienced it anymore. I drive a Hyundai and feel perfectly comfortable leaving it in the parking lot. This apartment complex is very nice and the residents and employees are super friendly. The only reason I'm moving is wanting to be closer to a ...

  • High Rent, Spacious floor plan, Laundry room needs repairs constantly

    Riverside's location and apartment layout, floorplan and size sq footage make it a reasonable place to live. On the upside: The staff is friendly and accommodating - they have nice community gatherings to bring everyone together occasionally. Maintenance is prompt with repairs. On the down side , the main laundry room is a nightmare. The washers and dryers are lousy and poor quality, most of the time inoperable. They flood and damage clothes. The hot tub amenity in the summertime is also a ...
    bummer- hasn't worked or heated up properly in my 3 years living here. Bare this in mind before leasing! I wish management team would give the laundry room a total overhaul with new units! It is much needed and would be appreciated by the tenants that pay top dollar in rent to live here!

  • Great Apartment Compex, Some Issues

    Riverside's apartments are sizable. The rent, while high, is acceptable, given how nice the complex is. Riverside has many amenities -- a community center, party rooms, swimming pools, a volley ball court, fitness centers, etc. It is child- and pet-friendly. Riverside is close to many restaurants, stores and shopping centers. It is also close to numerous parks, to include Huntington Levee, Mount Eagle, Fort Hunt, GW Parkway bike trails, Roosevelt Island, Huntley Meadows, and many others. ...
    There are also several nearby dog parks, including Westover, Grist Mill, etc.There are probematic issues, however. See the posts on this site from March 28, 2023 and July 31, 2020.

  • Fantastic complex

    I love living here. Maintenance is quick, rent is fairly priced, apartments are well designed. Christal in the mail room is an absolute saint and a doll. Will def continue to keep living here. No issues with crime on my side of the building either. Utilities are dirt cheap compared to other places

    Riverside Apartments is a lovely place to live, with major exceptions Riverside's apartments are sizable. The rent, while high, is acceptable, given how nice the complex is.     Washington Parkway bike trails, Roosevelt Island, Huntley Meadows, and many others. There are also several nearby dog parks, including Westover, Grist Mill, etc. There are problems, however. Since the beginning of the year, there has been a crime wave, including car break-ins and vandalism, as well as the theft of car parts.
