Great location, but the management, office staff, and maintenance supervisors seem to be ambivalent about the tenants. If you are unhappy and move out, they know someone else will move in. So, why bother? Their philosophy on service requests seems to be if they wait long enough you might fix the problem yourself.
Apparently, it’s all about saving money. Management apparently wants the Capri to be the WalMart of Marina apartments. They haven’t washed the windows since December 2016—almost 2 years
...ago. Since December is the start of the rainy season the windows were clean for only about two weeks. Now the windows are really dirty. Maybe they want each of us to hire our own window washers.
My advice: check out some of the newer or renovated apartments in the area. I believe the Capri was built in 2007. It’s showing its age—cracked kitchen counters, warped and stained cork floors in the bathrooms, and sad looking carpets. It can be embarrassing to have friends over. You have to explain the dirty windows and other shortcomings in light of the rent you pay. I’ll be looking for a new place when my lease expires.
