DO NOT RENT HERE
June 1, 2017BEWARE -- DO NOT RENT HERE. You will take a tour and fall in love with the open floor plan, vaulted ceilings, attached garage, location and easy access to 80... do NOT make the same mistake we did. Let me start off by saying the management is garbage. There is ONE lady in the office and ONE maintenance guy for the ENTIRE complex. You want something fixed? It will take at least 3 months, if at all. The garage door is constantly breaking and never works. Our A/C has not worked since we moved in. It ...is currently 91 degrees in our apartment. The management's response? "Oh sorry, they're just really old crappy units." When I ask if our rent can be reduced since our garage door has not worked and it is included in our rent price she laughed and said "No, the owner doesn't do that." Do you want rats crawling in your ceiling at night while you're trying to sleep? Or how about windows that wont open or close or lights that go out and NEVER get replaced. Today -- June 1 2017 I went into the office at 5:30 (supposed to stay open until 6:00pm) to turn in rent and ask for an update on our work order. The door was locked with the sign that said "Welcome! Come on in!" There was another couple there who was waiting to turn some paperwork in and ended up leaving. She never came back. SO, my advice? If you are willing to throw money down the drain to live in a 91 degree apartment with a broken garage, horrible maintenance, crappy management, and willing to fix EVERYTHING on your own and with your own money -- then this is the place for you! BTW -- when you put in a work order, management does not follow through. You have to go into the office every single day to ask for an update. Go rent at Edgewater Apartments in Citrus Heights. I lived there for 3 years and NEVER had any issues -- if I did -- maintenance was there within minutes. Wonder why this place does not even have a website or Facebook page? You've been warned.
