Not Horrible

The place itself isn't anything to write home about. It has two small rooms, a kitchen, a stair landing/hallway, and a bathroom. The doorjambs don't make 90 degree angles, the paint is old and hideous. It's very hot here.
It is a great value for a student who doesn't have much money but doesn't want to live in a dorm. The rent is 875; as low as I've seen for San Diego. It's owned by the church across the street, and managed by a very reasonable company.

me up very early every morning. You can hear the trains at all hours down at the shipyard. Navy Helicopters through the day. Ranchero music late into the night on the weekends. The streets are a little dirty and full of trash.
The carpet is new. Hold of the cabinets in the kitchen were redone, which doesn't look very good.
Overall I think this is a good value if you don't mind some of those things. Management has been very accommodating with splitting rent.
