New Owners-Broken Applianes
August 8, 2022I’ve been waiting for three months for oven drawer to be fixed. Also, been waiting for four weeks for dryer repair. I’ve been having to haul my laundry down to laundromat for a month now! Nothing up excuses and no timeline when I call them. The place was recently sold to an investment firm, who apparently only cares about making money. Weeds are growing everywhere. Other than that, I have no complaints.Review from Apartments.com
renter beware!
February 14, 2022Mold infestation due to poor ventilation and old windows. Only one assigned parking space, was told there was plenty of unassigned parking close to my unit but had to park on the other side of leasing office multiple times. Poor management not quick to address tenant issues but extremely quick to post letters concerning late rent and eviction notices.Property Manager Responded
February 18, 2022At Sky Vista Commons we have 282 carports, and an additional 247 unassigned parking spots throughout the property for our residents to use. Aside from your dedicated carport space, we are sorry to hear that on multiple occasions uncovered parking was not readily available just outside your home. Otherwise, we are very pleased to know that the majority of the time, you did not experience any parking issues. We are happy to know that your home is air tight. We would ask that you call the office to have a work order made if the air from outside is getting into your home. Because the homes were made well and are so air-tight, moisture created in the home by cooking, washing dishes, laundry and shower can potentially get trapped in the home. We ask that residents utilize their bathroom exhaust fans and open windows on occasion to allow any potential moisture to escape. Maintenance is diligent in responding to all tenant issues and is happy to assist you with guidance on how to ...properly ventilate your home. Please note that resident work orders are in no way related to our residents paying rent on time. If you are experiencing issues paying your rent, please call the office and we can provide contact information for rent payment assistance.

August 17, 2015The buildings are set up for 8 apartments each meaning that you only have 2 neighbors sharing walls. They are well laid out and not to far from downtown. Also, almost everything you need is only a mile down the road.The only drawbacks are the gym is a little lacklustre and there is no pool however they have a splash park across the street.Review from Apartments.com
Great Value
August 1, 2015Me and my boyfriend looked in the Reno area for months before deciding the North Valleys would be an option.Were both going to UNR in the fall and wanted good value for our money. Sky Vista Commons was our answer, located in a great neighborhood with updated amenities it was hard to look any further. The complex also has a lot of outlets for people with small children and an active life style. Nice, new apartments in North Reno
July 31, 2015These apartments are very up to date and in a beautiful area of Reno. The complex is huge, each building only as 8 units, so its not as cramped as a lot of other places. The neighborhood is very quiet and is next to a very nice park that includes a splash park, BBQ grills, and sports fields. Good for people of all ages. There are also plenty of biking and walking trails that connect into the complex. They are pet friendly, so no worries if you own a pet. There is covered parking with a lot of ...uncovered guest spots. The interior is spacious and well designed. All units come with a patio. The apartments come with a stacked washer and dryer. The appliances are decent, could definitely tell they probably cheaped out on that. However, they are new and do the job. Amenities include a gym but no pool. Complex is close to a couple grocery stores and a True Value and Walmart for everything else. The Smith's include a gas station which has some of the cheapest gas in Reno.
