Maintenance Request I recently submitted 3 maintenance requests and all 3 have been addressed and resolved. One of my repair requests involves ordering a particular exterior door, so it will take awhile, but, the staff notified me ( in person!) of the situation, . Greatly appreciated the timely response.

Maintenance request finished Dave came and quickly fixed our shower curtain rod seat. He reviewed the water dripping situation and said he would have to check into the upstairs apartments and return to finalize fixation of the issue, which he promptly did. He is a kind and friend worker and I appreciated his manners!

Seriously clogged toilet We tried everything to unclog the toilet ourselves, but ended up calling for maintenance. David came within minutes and did a great job of getting it unclogged. Even with the snake, it gave him a hard time, but he persisted. David is always friendly and always very helpful!

Our Favorite Home! We moved in Sofi in 2023. Between the beautiful area and friendly neighbors, the staff has been the most pleasant to us and we could not ask for better. Maintenance has such a quick response rate, care for their tenants and precise detail to the complex. Their office staff is tentative, friendly, and always welcomes us in to chat and provide friendly service. Moving here has been the best experience for us and will continue to be for years to come.

Renter Beware! The management team here schedules large projects and building maintenance that impacts the residents very frequently, and often without much notice or accommodation. Some sections of the complex have had maintenance sheds and equipment taking up vital parking space for months at a time, which greatly impacts residents. Although they say they are open to feedback, providing it doesn't change their operating practices. Their written and verbal communication skills are also lacking. ...
If you call the office and/or send an email, plan on following up several times (or possibly in person) in order to get a response. This place isn't it, especially for the price.

Beware of Mold!

I had previously recommended this community to others, but unfortunately, I can no longer do so. The property has a recurring mold issue that is not being effectively addressed. I experienced mold growth on my clothing, shoes, and personal items, and my Peloton equipment developed rust due to the apartment's conditions. While maintenance sent a vendor to inspect the problem, no major issues were identified, and no tangible solutions were provided. Given that I recently had a newborn, this living ...
situation became untenable. Although the management is allowing me to terminate my lease, they are requiring me to pay for a full 30-day notice period, despite the fact that I had to vacate the apartment early to protect my newborn from exposure to the mold. I had moved all of my belongings out well before the end of the notice period. This has caused significant financial hardship for a single mother who had to move to another place to protect her son. While I do appreciate the staff's politeness and professionalism, I cannot in good conscience recommend a community that has such significant mold problems and does not adequately support residents in these circumstances.
