We started out in a 1-bedroom and loved the complex so much that when our family started growing, we moved to a 2-bedroom just a few doors down. We really do love it here.
The location can't be beat - the beach, restaurants, grocery stores, and beautiful nature walks are all within a mile of your door. And the freeway is so close that getting anywhere outside of Solana Beach is easy.
The apartments are beautiful, bright, and spacious. We especially love the second floor units - with tons of ...
natural light and vaulted ceilings that add so much spaciousness. The trees outside make for a nice view and block out the nearby street. We're pretty close to the intersection and neighboring school, but have never had a problem with noise from either.
The leasing office staff and maintenance crew are honestly just great people - easy to communicate with, quick to respond, and always so helpful. The apartments are immaculate inside, but the landscaping, pool, gym, and clubhouse are kept just as nice. We've made great use of them all!

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Solana Mar and their staff. Both Rebecca and Amanda are the best leasing agents I have ever worked with. They are super attentive and quick to resolve any issue that arises.
The complex itself is very clean, well maintained year round, and the people here are very respectful and friendly! One of the most modern apartments West of I5!
I would recommend Solana Mar Apartments to anyone looking to rent in the area!

The apartments are beautiful and the price is great until you go there and find out they are renovating the whole property and raising rents. Outrageous. I can't believe the greed. I just wish someone out there would understand average people need a place to live as well. This was the place that people could have gone to, but now it seems its not the place. I would have been such a great place to live.

Great location - Can walk to the beach, train and town! Additionally, the staff is friendly and takes care of anything that comes up promptly with professionalism. High ceilings don't hurt either in our spacious 2 bedroom 2 bath.

i hate this place. first of all, they make you pay a monthly fee to have a cat here and not only is that not allowed but its almost illegal to demand declawing of the cat to live here. its inhumane!!!!!! it is located right on a main road. its sooooo loud and irritating to hear cars and see the police cameras flash constantly. and its also by 2 school which in most cases can be good. but when those schools get out, its mayhem. traffic and noise for hours. so plz help get the cat stuff overruled ...
and dont move here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
