Best gym, well maintained, friendly staff
October 1, 2020Soma Residences was a great place to call home for 18 months, offering excellent facilities at a reasonable price. The gym is better than many pricier apartment blocks - two squat racks, loads of machines, treadmills, free weights, the lot. The property as a whole is well maintained and secure, and all maintenance requests were handled very quickly. There’s a wide range of apartments, some with balconies onto a nice internal courtyard, and double height studio lofts with mezzanine sleeping area. ...Everyone working there is friendly - shout out to Adnan, Mel, Daniel - and there’s someone on front desk 24/7. For me, the location was pretty great - 10 minutes walk to Westfield & TJs, close to BART, St Frank or Sightglass coffee nearby, shops on Folsom. However the immediate area is the compromise - for a block in each direction it ain’t the nicest, nothing crazy for SF and it didn’t feel unsafe, but make sure you understand. So long as that doesn’t bother you, this is a great place. Top tip: get a unit facing inwards if you want to minimise street noise.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
