It might be more efficient to ignore problems until they become an emergency just so you can call Lund directly and have them send someone competent to fix things. Our power would go out randomly over weeks for hours at a time (obvious fuse issue), and it took three maintenance requests and them sending an outside electrician before he just checked the external fuse box and fixed it in an hour. Our A/C has never really worked very well, and even after they fixed it slightly, the explanation ...

they told us was that it was pretty much our fault. Several appliances have simply never worked, and since they aren't emergencies we don't even bother calling them in, because I don't trust this management not to make things worse or charge us for something that has never been working. Finally, as it's currently -19° outside, our heating hasn't worked for days. This morning I woke up to shower (my one respite of warmth) and found that we also have lost hot water privileges. Called Lund's emergency line and they're sending over an actual professional. Oh! And despite them telling us they check the apartment between residents, our very first weekend in the apartment we had a monoxide leak from a bad water heater in our unit. Nobody's monoxide detectors in the building went off except one on the third floor. We buy our own now.

I am very pleased with my new apartment home. It is very quiet here compared to where I was previously. The office staff goes over and beyond with their helpfulness. Love it here

Worst complex I’ve ever lived in

Do not move in here. Maintenance never fixes anything and they left so much mold due to a water leak from a different aparment untreated for months. My furniture was damaged due to water damage and mold. Office never listens to any complaints I had and always played the blame game.

I have been at Southwinds Apartments for 2 years and have just signed my lease for a third. The apartments are clean and well kept. Maintenance responds quickly; the longest I had to wait for anything to be fixed was 3 days because they had to order a special part, usually they're out the same day or the day after I make a request. The management team is friendly and helpful and are great at communicating. And Sounthwinds is located in a quiet residential neighborhood. I love it here and ...
