Amazing, well-maintained apartment
June 23, 2026 - Review from Apartments.comI lived at Station Landing Apartments for two years and would give it five stars or more, if possible. The property is exceptionally well managed. The office staff is accommodating, easy to reach, and responsive, while the common areas and grounds are consistently clean. Package and food deliveries were stress-free. The locker system worked perfectly, and I never had a missing or mishandled delivery (unlike at my previous apartment, where this was a constant concern). Maintenance was ...excellent. Requests were usually handled by the next morning, and the team was very accommodating. They replaced my in-unit washer and dryer with a brand-new set. The community also hosts frequent events with free food and drinks. The location is a major advantage: about a 10-minute walk to Wellington Station, 15 minutes to Assembly Row and Trader Joe’s, and walking distance to CVS, Subway, Joe’s Hot Chicken, and other businesses. Several restaurants and stores are downstairs. Costco and Target are about a 15-minute drive away, and Life Time gym is next door. The walk to Wellington Station is easier than it appears because much of the route goes through an indoor garage and covered skybridge, so bad weather is rarely a problem. The complex is beside a riverfront park with beautiful views. A wildlife reservation is also about a five-minute walk away. Neighbors were friendly and respectful, and I never had issues with neighbors or noise complaints. A few inconveniences are worth noting. The fire alarm went off a few times overnight, but it was usually resolved within 15–20 minutes. The complex is near a busy roadway, so some traffic and occasional sports-car noise can be heard. My courtyard-facing unit was mostly shielded, but road-facing units may be different, which is worth noting. There is also some airplane and train noise because the property is near the MBTA Orange Line rail yard (especially 50 SL). These are mostly consequences of the apartment’s location and outside management’s control. If you are sensitive to noise, get a courtyard-facing or inward-facing unit. Overall, everything management and maintenance could control was handled exceptionally well. Staff was responsive, maintenance was fast, deliveries were reliable, the property was clean, and the location was convenient. Since the Walgreens closed down, it’s terribly inconvenient. Can’t walk anywhere without leaving the area first, and it’s in a major intersection so it’s terribly unpleasant They say they’re dog friendly but they’re absolutely not. I have a 10lb dog. You can have a dog, but it’s a huge burden They raise rents to insane levels. Part of me thinks ...“wow you guys must really think highly of yourselves if you think can raise prices to that level” Fire alarms go off constantly They tow my car even though it’s registered to the garage Then charge 150 to get it back. They say “we don’t have to look up your license plate, we can just tow it”. Luckily I don’t “need” my car, but imagine if you had to drive to work and your car was just… gone This was infuriating and alone should be enough reason not to ever rent here The appliances are terrible. Our dishwasher was replaced twice. The washing machine just kind of… stops. Mid load, still full of water. The smoke detector had to have its battery replaced multiple times as well I have never had any of these problems anywhere else. That said, some areas of the property are more busy than others and we are happy to explore those locations with you and potentially work with you in transferring apartments. We understand renting sight unseen is a difficult decision which does not always allow for the nuances of each apartment location to be appreciated. Some may desire a more bright apartment and accept that more traffic may pass by their window. It really is a balance in finding out what is most important. Please visit with us should you wish to explore transferring apartments. Although we are pet friendly and love all our our community dogs, we do ask that all residents maintain a leash on their dog when outside of their apartment. Not all residents are comfortable with pets, no matter the size, and it can be very intimating when ...approached by an unleased dog. As a pet friendly community, we must also enforce the rules and regulations of the property. While residents enjoy a free parking space with their apartment, it is important that we monitor parkers who absorb resident parking. Stevens Towing provides this monitoring service to the community and the only way they can identify a residents vehicle is through the hang tag issued to resident at move it. When displayed, the driver of the tow truck understands that the vehicle is a residents vehicle. We hope you can appreciate the need for their service in maintaining available resident parking. Rent increases which are so unbelievably large it makes it impossible to stay here very long because you will be priced right out of your apartment. Once you sign that lease and move in they know it's harder for you to move away, so on your renewals you can expect your rent to go up by a very large amount on a regular basis, and if you ...don't like it you have to leave. Well, guess what. That's exactly what we're going to do. As soon as our lease is up, we are leaving. We would do it right now, except that the penalties they charge for leaving early amount to many thousands of dollars, so we are stuck here putting up with their rude attitude until our lease is up.
