we could choose to not move in. On our moving day we went to the apartment bright and early and we still saw issues that weren't going to be solved before we needed to move. I called the property manager, who said that even though the application fees were non refundable, they would still get us our deposit back. Later, when we called about the deposit, we were told that because WE waited until the last minute we would not receive our deposit back, in spite of the fact that we were instructed by the property manager to wait until the morning of our moving day to make the decision. It's also worth mentioning that between the time that we paid the application fees and the deposit and the move in day the price for the rent changed twice. At first we were told it would be $580, then no more than $625, then $650. Needless to say, we are not impressed with the level of integrity we experienced with this company. If they make it right I'll update this post, but until then you can assume they still have our money. New management took over on the same day we first inquired about the apartment, so I'm sure they are still runnings things now.
