  • Do not move into this building on 2018

    March 7, 2018
If you want constant banging and drilling from 9am until 6pm this is the building for you!! I moved into this building Nov of 2017 and I completely regret it!! The super does not help if you ask him for anything.. double books the elevator on move in and move out day (costed me a fortune having movers wait) and he takes zero responsibility for it. Then here comes the renovations. Every month it's another apartment being renovated. I can't stand the bear the noise anymore!!!!!!! The hallways are ...
always dirty and there's no place to throw out the trash. The only good thing I can say about the apartment building is that the doormen are really nice. But seriously don't move in unless you can handle the constant noises of renovations!

  • Building Has Great Potential, but Management Company Sucks

    August 11, 2015
This is a doorman building with laundry in the building in the heart of the city. It is has the potential to be a fantastic place. However, the management company does not care about its tenants and will not do any updates to the apartments (even if it is installing a new fire detector) without charging you. Fixes to the apartments like a broken dishwasher take ages to get fixed -- over a month, usually two plus. With all that said, the building is filled with lovely people and the doormen truly ...
care. So, all in all, it's a mixed bag.

  • Large Studio in Midtown East

    August 10, 2015
My husband and I were able to live comfortably in this alcove studio for almost 4 years without wanting to kill each other. We absolutely love the area & the building. Bonus is that the doormen are the best in NYC, almost like family at this point. We are close to the 59th street subway station and also the cross-town E trains. Not to mention all the great restaurants and bars on second avenue and the upper east side. While extremely nearby is a young professional bar scene, the building is ...
situated between First Ave & Sutton Place where it's quiet & serene with great views from the river.

  • L shaped Studio

    August 9, 2015
My wife and I live in a large alcove studio. Everything about the apartment is great except for the kitchen. Unfortunately, our kitchen is tiny. Both of us can not fit in there at the same time and there is very little counter space. Building is great, doormen are very nice and helpful. Central air helps keep the electric bill low, especially in the summer. Little street noise.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on scale of 1 (below average) and to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider needs as part of the school selection process.
