Decent apartments but poorly managed

Some of the units have been recently updated and are worth the price. The location is good (multiple good restaurants within walking distance), and I never had any security concerns. However, the management could be better. The apartment had a bed bug infestation while I lived here and while I respect the need to contain the outbreak, the management gave absolutely no flexibility in scheduling a treatment that required the apartment to be largely packed up and cleaned (with 48 hours notice), ...
otherwise you would be fined for not cooperating - even if in the military and not home during that time frame. The apartment complex itself is nice though, and I would recommend an updated unit if the management changes.
