Really enjoying living here so far. The apartment itself is nice, and the courtyard is a great spot to relax or soak up some sun when the weather’s good. Maintenance has been super responsive—every request I’ve made has been handled the same day. They also do little community events like movie nights, game nights, and raffles, which is a nice bonus. The common areas are super useful—there’s a quiet space for studying, a game room to unwind, a few treadmills if you want to work out, and printers, ...
which has come in handy more than once. The free coffee, tea, and hot chocolate in the lobby is also a small thing that makes a big difference in the mornings. Plus, being right across from the bus stop is a huge win, especially if you’re an engineering student.

It’s a nice location and right in front of the bus stops so it works but we were roomed with individuals who had been living in the apartment and took up all the kitchen space with clutter.

poor management and unfair billing practices

I actually only lived there for three months but faced multiple unjust charges, including over $250 for locksmith services in June and nearly $700 in move-out fees for what was clearly normal wear and tear. For example, the carpet in the bedroom was cleaner at move-out than at move-in due to my use of a dust collector, yet I was charged $426 for it! The maintenance team also refused my request for a locksmith to replace the lock but still charged me for the service. Additionally, my electricity ...
bills from June to July were inexplicably 2 to 3 times higher than usual, with no clear explanation provided.
I also experienced ongoing disturbances from my roommate and his girlfriend, who frequently visited and stayed overnight, causing many sleepless nights with their loud noise and yelling at midnight. Despite multiple complaints to the leasing office, the issue was never resolved, ultimately forcing me to relocate while still being responsible for my lease payments. On top of that, I had to spend three days cleaning up the mess left by my roommate in the kitchen and living room at the end of the lease term.
I strongly advise potential renters to be cautious, as my experience suggests poor management and unfair billing practices.

Not worth the price

Yes, the location is convenient and the apartments are generally pretty good. However, this place is a complete money grab because they know many North campus students want to live here. They charge $150 now if you get locked out. It’s not worth paying for at all, overpriced.

As a student at the University of Michigan, the location is so convenient, it’s located by the UM bus stops and the Ann Arbor Ride stops! The on call CAs and maintenance is a great plus as well!
