Great place to live, I love how very spacious it is. Having access to a pool, gym, many study rooms, and a room for putting my scooter in. The only downside is that there is just no shading for the bus stop when it’s very hot out

I really enjoyed the amenities and the staff especially for being very kind and always available for assistance whenever needed. One thing that I wish was better was the installation of the apartment we had. A lot of things like outlet covers, or the shelf papers, or curtains came off easily.

Overall experience is good, but the gate to get into the current being open for long periods of time is an issue for noise and safety.
I like the events that are held and free food in the morning. I do wish they had longer periods of availability or different times with the food because some people have class or are busy.

Resident experience can use lots of improvements.
1. Issues with roommate which needed to be addressed more appropriately by management
2. Lots of broken areas, including doors.
3. Floors can use improvements in cleanliness.
4. Can be loud during the night on higher floors.
5. Management can be tailored more towards a student living environment, rather than just an apartment complex, since majority of residents are students.

The girls at the office were fairly informative and helpful but did occasionally give contradicting answers to the same questions and weren’t very as clear about filling out the application but overall pretty good.

i love the idea of living so close to campus also getting all the cool ammenitues at a fairly low cost compared to other places available in the area which come unfurnished

I like living here. I love the ammenties and the printer. The pool is so nice for tanning and I like the pool table that is in the games room.

So far my experience at The Current has been pretty good. The apartment finished and aesthetics of the building are gorgeous, but the building is not maintained as much as it could be. The community trash cans are often overflowing and the carpets are stained through the property. I guess this comes with the wear and tear of the place, so my rating is pretty average.

Fire alarm tests are very poorly timed and annoying, there was a 3-hour fire alarm test where the alarm would go off sporadically from 8:30am-11:30am on a Wednesday that we were given less than 24 hours notice to AND most of the residents didn't even get a warning because the email system is "opt-in". I still haven't figured out how to "opt-in". Overall though, amenities are kept relatively clean and the gym has nice equipment. Apartment maintenance can be unresponsive over weekends, but ...
generally works quickly considering how many units they have. Units don't feel cheap and the internet is fast. The Current is not a bad place to live, it could just use some management that cares about the people and less about the bottom line.
