About The Drake
The Drake is a unique Shaker Heights, Van Aken Blvd. apartment which was recently purchased by "Rock on Cleveland", managed by Waterstone-Brainworks Property Management. Currently all common areas, as well as the apartments are being remodeled / upgraded. We have just completed installing a new roof and have resealed all windows throughout. We are now in the process of replacing the carpet, light fixtures and painting all common areas.From the moment you park in your underground parking space, the goal of the Drake apartments is to make you feel like you live in Shaker Heights. The apartments are extremely spacious with sweeping views of Van Aken Blvd. In many of the units we are opening walls between the kitchen and living room to give a more open floor plan design. We are "pet friendly" and heat is included in your rent. The Drake has a private yard which includes patio furniture, bbq's and a fire pit. The Drake Apartments in Shaker Heights have 4 different 3 bedroom floor plans and 2 different 2 bedroom floor plans. What makes all apartments similar is that each has newer windows, newer central air, newer furnaces, newer electrical upgrades. Your home has new paint with a modern kitchen, which includes up to date cabinets, lots of counter space and lots of closets. Shaker is a very active community at large with a great school system. The Drake apartments is 1 block West of the RTA Rapid Blue Line at Lee & Van Aken. The bus line is also there, as is the library, and city hall. It is walking distance to Chagrin-Lee-Avalon shopping district which includes Shaker Town Center and Shaker Commons.
