Budget over Frills. Not for everyone, good for me.

This is a no frills spot for a large city. No amenities. There are various size options available: 2 or 1 bedroom or studios. I selected the ALL UTILITIES INCLUDED STUDIO because, well, size doesn't matter as long as I'm happy with the budget & know how to work with that size;) No surprise bills through the year. POSITIVES: $425 a month (340 sq ft)no extra bills (water, gas & electric included) Hardwood floors (although some still have questionable carpet) In upper studio units there are 4 ...
(yes 4!!) closets. 1 in kitchen, 2 in bedroom & 1 on landing Easy access to highways (1 mile to 70/71/315) Next to a beautiful quiet- cemetery. Best neighbors EVER!! CONS: I live in an upper. Climate control is in lower apartment so be a good neighbor or.... All outlets & lights are on 1 breaker. Also in lower studio...So don't run the microwave, toaster oven & electric kettle at the same time No AC No washer/dryer hook-up in upper. Lower has hook up & basement (lower unit has NO CLOSETS) Not the best neighborhood. But not the worst either. If you have kids: NO PLAY AREA except the parking lot. Which, trusts me, gets the activity from young & old. If you need more space the cost of the 1 or 2 bedrooms here cost the same as others when you add in utilities for drafty older buildings in so-so areas. The gem is the studios even with the negatives. I'd rather have money in my pocket than pay at least $600 more a month for a "nice place in good location" around Columbus. Not everyone would be comfortable here.
