Lost complete faith
April 3, 2025If you're considering The Fort Apartments based on the promise of "luxury living," I strongly urge you to look elsewhere. The branding is slick, but the experience is frustrating from start to finish. the quality of service does not match the price tag.-- not exactly what you'd expect from a so-called luxury property. What's even more disappointing is the lack of accountability when things go wrong. You're paying premium rent for an experience that feels far from premium. The building may look ...nice in photos, but don't let that fool you -- it's been one frustrating issue after another. Save yourself the stress. There are better places in the area that are actually worth the money and deliver on what they promise.Property Manager Responded

Absolutely Terrible Management
August 22, 2024Absolutely terrible management. They completely ignore emails and texts once you’ve signed the contract. The portal system is constantly down, making it impossible to get anything done. The only redeeming quality is the maintenance person, who is genuinely helpful. Amazing Architectural building and great place to live
October 9, 2021I have been extremely happy with my unit and with management since I moved in. I have requested a few work orders and the responses have been timely and effective. The location is great because I can walk to take care of day to day tasks and necessities and access to freeways going north/south and east/west are really close by. There are several parks and great restaurants around as well. My unit has super nice views of San Diego. This building is really cool. Wonderful Management and Property
February 5, 2021Our experience at the property has been really great. Since move-in, on-site management has been responsive and helpful. When things come up, management is reasonable and willing to work with us on our requests. The property is quiet, the units are great with really nice views during the day and at night. Worst management extremely noisy
September 28, 2020Avoid this building at all cost. This is my experience.,Moved in to apartment with no ac for 9 days paint marks throughout -entry hallway, doors, window sills, floors dirty stained, request use of call box three weeks no response. Unable. open windows due to smell From restaurant. Loud noisy conversations inside my apt from seating outside at restaurant, loud bells go off throughout the day starting at 7am. Units Smell Like Smoke from the Downstairs Restaurant
April 22, 2020The apartments are nice but the outdoor space and apartment patios are unusable on many days due to the restaurant on the first floor of the building. In addition, your windows have to be shut or the fumes and smoke smell get into your apartment.Review from Apartments.com
