My son hasn't actually moved in yet, but..
June 21, 2024My son hasn't actually moved in yet, so I'll have to update in the future, but I have to say we're happy with our choice to rent here. We came up and toured apartments for 2 days. We were looking for a 1/1 close to both UF and Santa Fe, which was clean, safe, and affordable. We toured The Gardens at the end of day one. My son and his gf called it "probably the one." They kept going on about the office lady, Kelly, how nice and honest she came across. How they had a full-blown conversation about ...moving to Gainesville and how helpful she truly was. The apartment itself was not only one of the biggest we seen in that price range, but also the cleanest, and had upgrades like wood floors, new cabinets, and appliances. After we came home, we applied for the apartment and did everything over the phone. Kelly and Shelly are both super friendly and extremely helpful! Not only with the process of the application, but also with measurements, suggestions, and info on local stores and supplies. For a mother sending her child off to college for the first time, I got to say picking this neighborhood and dealing with the people who run it has definitely put me a little at ease. I feel they truly care about the neighborhood, and they make you feel like you're moving into a community, not just an empty apartment. I pray everything stays as it seems.Property Manager Responded

OVER PRICED!
August 6, 2022These units are wildly overpriced. They are energy inefficient with single pain class and tiny AC units that can’t adequately cool a large unit. Our GRU bills were through the roof. There is no cell phone service inside the old concrete buildings. My kids bike was stolen, someone broke into my car. Good luck parking! Do not live here! It’s not with it!!Review from Apartments.com
