Manhattan studio with pizzazz

At 450 sq ft, this studio is largish by NYC standards, with 5 windows facing south and west. It has a built in kitchen bar and 3 roomy closets, which for a studio, is barely short of a miracle. The six-floor elevator building is well-kept, has a part time doorman and laundry in the basement. It's located exactly between downtown and midtown near a major subway hub, with shopping, theaters, bars and restaurants in every direction. The occasional hot water, heat or elevator outages are readily ...
addressed, and the old steam radiators can be turned off and still leak enough heat to keep the place warm in the winter. The main irritant is the single available cable provider, but that's nitpicking. I've grown steadily more appreciative while writing this, in fact. I've seen mice but never a roach, the live-in super is responsive and friendly, and the landlord keeps the rent at market value. You may be shaking your head in disbelief at this point, but it's all completely true. As a final point of interest, Christopher Lee once lived in this building.
