Raising my children is my priority as a single mother, so not having to worry about major repairs and landscaping services is such a relief. Our house has a two-car garage, a fenced-in backyard, and ample space to spread out. Getting a mortgage as a single parent is challenging, but I wanted my children to have a place to call home with a backyard to play in and a living room big enough to have family and friends over.
